“It is very fluid. So after prolonged use I didn’t feel like I was as thirsty/needed to drink as much after taking a gel. It also seemed to be quicker response with about the same duration as compared to other gels/fuels. Meaning if I am fatigued it turns around rather quick. I didn’t try the carb mix. I do want to try that on the next longer run. I think that would be a great way to fuel between gels if I were to stick with one every 30 mins than 20 mins. This would allow me to carry fewer gels. No gastro issues for the run. I was impressed with that.”

“I have been using neversecond for years, from road running to ultras and cycling. I never have GI issues and the taste and simplicity are unmatched. I just tried out the unflavored drink mix/gels on my trail run yesterday, and I have a new favorite. Palette fatigue is usually an issue in 100 mile ultras, and I think this will be a perfect solution.”

“So smooth that I wondered if there was anything even in it. The longest run I've used with the hydration and gels is 18 miles. No flavor fatigue at all. No GI issues. I've used the caffeine gels as well and no problems there. I'm very pleased that I found this.”

“I was in search of a new product that had the right consistency for me and tasted good while still providing me with the correct amount of carbohydrates my body needs for the longer efforts, and Neversecond definitely is it! Absolutely love the gels! Love the fact that they’re more like drinking water than a gel and how much carbs/sodium are in each packet. I’ve never felt better during my long runs and even long mountain bike rides. Can’t recommend their products enough!”

“Science First, NEVER Second. Hands down the best nutritional product line I’ve used. I’ve been using cycling nutrition since there was only PowerBar in 2 flavors. I’ve even taken Km Potassium Supplement. NeverSecond works every time and is so easy to use. Count your hours on the bike, count the dots and you’re done!! “I used NeverSecond for the first time during the AZ Monster 300 … a grueling 300-mile ultra run along the AZ trail . Despite never using the product before, I trusted it for the first time on course and was blown away!!! No GI issues whatsoever, consistent and reliable energy, and the perfect balance of carbs to keep me fueled mile after mile for nearly 125 hours straight. The fuel bars were shockingly easy to chew and swallow—something I’ve struggled with in the past with other brands. NeverSecond is now a permanent part of my endurance toolkit. “Good enough for Keegan is good enough for me. Seriously, on gravel the extra liquidity makes it so much easier, most gels don’t flow AND yoj must take an immediate drink. NS is much faster and easier in technical stretches.”

“I've struggled with a queasy stomach while running long distances, especially after stopping. It's especially worse when I'm racing or pushing it hard over a long run in training. Neversecond is the first product that hasn't made my stomach do cartwheels nor have me run to find a restroom plus it tastes great! The texture is nice too...I like that it's not jelly-like or so thick you need water to gag it down. I'm new to their product, but I'm definitely a fan!”

“I love the flavor and how easy to consume during run. Unlike other gels, it is not sticky mess in my mouth, and actually it tastes great. One thing I would like to see in the future from Neversecond is that package update to make it smaller than current ones. It’s little too bulky when I pack 5-6 gels for marathon when we can’t have extra carrier like hydration backpack or belt on the race day unlike ultra runners. So the smaller the package is better for us marathoners to fit them in very limited space we got on us.”

“I went on a 41m mountain bike ride, 70-85 degs, climbed 4200ft and took 90 CHO per 20 oz of water and 75oz in my pack, 360g of CHO. I felt good the whole ride and didn't get any cramping.”
