“Damaged and missing items, appalling accountability and shoddy service.
If I'd have known then, what I know now! 'Objekts'? Not a registered company. Claim to be part of the 'Casus Enterprise' ... again, not seemingly a registered company. Email addresses 'Casus7', bottom of website a reference to 'Mariposa7' ...all appearing as a dissolved companies at Companies House online and seemingly all rooting back to 'Lee Marriott'; who appears in the last c.5 years to have dissolved c.5 businesses, which mainly look to be furniture & home.
By law, a business need to display on their comms and website their company reg. no. and contact details. Not only are they not on there, but they refuse multiple times to provide these to me when requested directly.
The order was 5 items (Superking bed and 2 bedside tables). 4/5 items arrived, eventually, and 3/4 were damaged boxes, opened and re-taped up. the missing 1/5 was said, by the courier, to have been so badly damaged that it wasn't loaded on the van and a replacement was being sourced, but they couldn't give any indication of timescales. We considered declining the 4/5 as boxes looking suspiciously damaged, and there was a box missing. The courier assured us that only one of the boxes had damaged goods and that was the one being held back and re-sourced. The given reason for the opened boxes was that they had checked these over to ensure no damage on these ones - told they were all undamaged.... they were damaged when we opened them. Contacted Objeckts/Casus7/Casus Enterprises/Mariposa7 (??) and unwilling to speak on phone and have had a tennis match of emails. Refusing refund and saying if items are sent back we need to arrange and pay for that personally! All utterly against consumer rights and THE LAW... but I'm unconvinced they are registered or legal traders as they refuse to cooperate in providing the company reg details .. although he does like to profess he know the laws and that he is right; the law unto himself perhaps?”
