“The Oculus device hardware is impressive but better hope you don't need any tech support. Having encountered a Facebook related account issue, 6 months on I have yet to see any progress in resolving the matter. Oculus tech support is responsive but very slow, once the issue was passed to Facebook however, tech support is hopeless. It's as though they simply don't care - totally unsatisfactory and unacceptable. My Oculus device plus paid for games have been rendered totally useless. Be warned and be aware of the risk.”
“Oculus Quest Two Review
As someone who has always enjoyed video games, the Oculus Quest Two was by far the most enjoyable. For someone looking for a virtual reality console, the Oculus has given me a pleasant experience overall. The Oculus is a great virtual reality headset that has multiplayer, an abundance of games, and has a lot of storage.
First of all, I love the Oculus because the multiplayer aspect is one of the most fun things about this console. While playing some games by yourself can be a lot of fun, playing with a friend is so much better. It is almost like hanging out with unlimited possibilities. You can also make a private voice chat with your buddies and talk to them about strategy, make jokes, and just have more fun. It also makes everything more competitive. Winning against your friends can give you bragging rights, and winning against other online players just gives you pride. Now, one issue I ran into was that not a lot of my friends had a VR. However there are thousands of online players that are always online that you can talk to or play against.
The second thing that is great about the oculus is that it has so many amazing games and applications. No matter what kind of games you are into, the oculus quest two has it all. Shooter games, various simulators, card games, and even workout programs are all available on this console, and give you a real sense that you are actually there. The only downside is that almost nothing is free but the cost is worth it. When playing the same game with your friends, it is as close as you can get to hanging out with them, but with the twist of an endless world of possibilities. The amount of unique and extremely fun things to do is unreal and makes this an amazing experience overall.
Finally, one more thing that is perfect for this console is the storage. Making an account, buying a lot of games, and various updates take up a lot of storage. But, with 128 Gigabytes, you can hold so many more games than other consoles without having to purchase more storage. This is also good news because if someone is willing to get a variety of different games, and a couple from each genre, then they're gonna need that storage. Also some of the better games take up more storage so this really comes in handy when new games are released. Overall, having storage makes owning an Oculus a much better experience so you can get more games without worrying about getting too many.
The multiplayer feature, an abundance of games, and a large amount of storage all make the Oculus Quest Two a great console. I would highly recommend this console to anyone who is looking for a virtual reality headset. After owning it for several months, I have almost no complaints and use it whenever I get the chance.”
“Read this before buying oculus go.
The first week or so was brilliant i really enjoyed it but then it started giving me a warning that the device is overheating (not plugged in) i was getting about 1-1.5 hours of playtime before having to turn off, the front was as hot as a lightbulb,
So i found myself needed to sit infront of a fan,
I decided to buy the cinema app as i thought i could watch Netflix but they have their own room so unless you download you're own films its only good for watching youtube waste of £3.99 as a week later a free one came out.
Due to the go overheating this makes you're face sweat so much it becomes unbearable so you've got to spend another £40 on better masks,
I wear glasses and the go comes with a spacer but you can buy prescription lenses but thats another £60,
And the box it comes in is stupid, its almost like they made it that way so you have to buy a travel case, £40
Most of the decent games require a bluetooth controller, xbox one s is suggested £60.
A spare/travel battery is also required so you can watch a film without having to take it off and plug it in, £40
So you pay £244 for the 64gb then you will need another £240 in accessories, i wish i had done some research before.
When its working at its best its great but that doesnt last long.”
