“Not that impressed. Most of the information given was pretty obvious. The whole mood meter seems pretty made up and if fits so conveniently into a perfect square. It would be more believable if some quadrants were bigger than each other. Mark Brackett who came up with this seems quite full of himself. He tend to give us the Steve Jobs Reality Distortion Field where he acts as if his "findings" are fact. The one thing that I thought was good about his class was how it reinforces that you aren't controlled by your emotions and you can choose to regulate. Many people I know seem to believe the opposite, and it frustrates me to no end that they think they have no control over how they are feeling, when in fact you can control/regulate your emotions through practice.”

“What I discovered by attempting to regulate my emotions using the techniques in Oji Life Lab is that those skills work AFTER my stuffed and unexpressed feelings stored in my body from decades of denying and repressing my feelings were freed.”
