Dan is definitely not the man 👎🏻 3 weeks ago he sold my daughter a moped, took her ages to save, she was so happy. 3 weeks of built up excitement later and Dan phoned just 1 hour before she was due to collect her new bike, he told her the bike wasn’t starting so she couldn’t collect it as arranged, and asked her to collect on Friday instead, 5 DAYS after her arranged collection date. We drove there and Dan claimed it was probably just a flat battery, the bike was “on the block” everything was fine and it had passed all its test. I asked why they were only doing the tests now when they have had the bike for 3 weeks, he said he had been off so didn’t know but he was very sorry, and offered to get his manager. My gut was telling me something was off, so I accepted his offer, he obviously didn’t have enough time to prep the boss. Boss man came out and lied to my face, he told me Dan had been confused about the bikes, it was actually a different bike that wasn’t starting. Our bike had no issues and was due to have its checks that afternoon. I questioned this as Dan claimed it had already passed its checks, Boss man went out back and on his return he stated it would be ready in 40 mins, we said we would wait outside, but the whole thing felt off. 20 mins later Dan phoned and said “we can’t get it to start” we went inside and got a refund. So we paid in full, waited 3 weeks and I had to watch my child’s heart break and got stuck with an insurance cancellation fee!!!
