To preface the story this is the first negative review I have ever left a business, I understand that mistakes may happen but when they repeatedly occur and no one will contact you or make any attempt to rectify a situation negative feedback will hopefully help future consumers from trusting them with their business.
My divorce was initiated in December of 2021 and both my husband and I were in agreement of the terms. We do not have any children or joint assets and felt like a simplified divorce was the best way to go. The first negative experience was; I had a question about what information I needed to fill out and called customer service. They told me to “leave the area blank” which caused a month long delay because the paperwork needed to be sent back to me and the circuit court number did in fact need to be filled out. It takes about 15 business days for them to respond. There have been other hiccups along the way but as I stated mistakes happen and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I have had to repeatedly (almost every evening) call customer service to update me on the progress of my case for the past 3 weeks I was told that the documents were approved and waiting to be shipped to the courts. I was frustrated that they were sitting around for 3 weeks just to be mailed and was told a supervisor would be contacting me. I set a time for “Jhon” (the supervisor) to call on 3 different occasions. He missed every appointment that we had and his communication skills are horrific. It is beyond me how someone such as this can be a supervisor in customer service. Today I received an email that some of my paperwork was “misplaced” and not only did I have to get documents notarized again, I also need to pay for additional shipping. I am amazed that this company is still in business. The only thing they are good at is prolonging the divorce process and charging extra fees. Please select another business for divorce assistance. I wish I had done better research before I trusted them.”
“Save yourself the time and money. Just Retain a lawfirm to assist with this or work with the Local Law Library as to what to do. Onlinedivorce.com was Slow in filing documents all to charge you the monthly fees as long as possible. The initial $139 cost was just to fill in the Info you could do yourself but it was wrong the Judge refused to sign the Final Decree and told me fix 5 sections. If you want more assistance with Filing and getting docs to your spouse to sign then That is a Premium Fee of $299 then they charge you Extra Fees for Expedited shipping that is just 2-3day Priority mail not Express. After that during all the waiting with filing with the court it took 5-Months charging $35 per month and at the End they send you some stuff and tell you to schedule your own hearing with Minimal instructions. So I scheduled the hearing and that was another 2 months charging me $35 just to have access to my documents. I've given them $746.89 of my money for a judge to deny the final decree. Just pay a Lawfirm in your state to deal with it.”
“I signed up for this service and made believe with my short amount of time that I had; that their sytem was fast enough to process my divorce documents. They have no sence of customer support and Omar cs supervisor has no idea of providing any sort of help to my very specific situation. I will never recommend this company for their lack of interest in support and misleading information.”
