“I had a truly horrendous experience in stor 6 weeks after lock down began A member of staff thought it was part of her job to racially abuse and humiliate me in store for simple asking if I could use a self serve till because a large queue was building at the designated one But because it was reserved for baskets only and was not being used by any customer I ha dot take this abuse This lady was threatening intimidating and relentless to the point she followed me back to the area she insisted I should be and insisted on informing me She put her life on the line for people like me daily at the top of her lungs The store was informed and did nothing until I chased the incident up again where I eventually received a call from the manager who said it had been dealt with then asked what had happened Boding the question if it had been dealt with why did I then have to repeat the incident He had obviously been given a softened version as yes he claimed he was shocked But I was informed by another member of their staff this is a common procedure for her and I wouldn’t be the last But as the lady in question has 15 yrs service nothing will be done Seems they were right They seem to feel a £30 gift voucher was going to make this ok I used to use the store twice a week I have not been back and to be honest I don’t think I will return ever”
