“They are thieves who does
NOT return calls, but continues to withdraw money. They have not helped me with my debt and the IRS is aware because Optima doesnt work for the client. TOTAL MESS!! I need my money back.”
“Total waste of time and MONEY. Scott only told me things I already knew about my tax issue then try to fast talk you about how they can help after you give them more money. Total scam. They want $5k to represent you with no guarantee to anything. Definitely will not be giving them any more of my money! Do not waste your time with them.”
“The worst, a legit scam, they get paid but will never respond to any of your questions. They will say they tried to call you which has never happened, eve with an appointment! Even my point of contact want answer me once he got my money, I have a feeling that everything I sent them went into a black hole and it is only a matter of time before the IRS takes our house, car and our savings leaving us homeless but at least Optima will get paid”
“A total scam. I've paid more than $6,000 and have had very little resolved, haven't heard from them for many months and the IRS is threatening a lien because of back taxes OPTIMA promised to resolve. OPTIMA TAX RELIEF IS A TOTAL SCAM!
Part 2 of this review: so now because I've made this bad review and a bad review on the Better Business Bureau, they have decided to reach out to me. Not only that, they want me to resend pay stubs and other forms etc that I had initially sent years ago which means that the first time that I sent them they did nothing.
Part three of this review: after I posted this past review- part 2, I got an email saying that I have to withdraw this review and/or the review that I put up with the Better Business Bureau. Until I provide them with the forms that I have already provided them years ago and they did nothing, they are saying that they will not do anything until I take this review down. Now I am being extorted.
How about this Optima: you resolve all my issues that I was guaranteed to have resolved and I might modify this review.

"Some companies seek to exploit the fact that some Minnesotans are behind on their taxes. Some companies have television advertising campaigns that lure customers with claims that the companies have special expertise or knowledge that enables them to settle customers’ tax obligations for pennies on the dollar. The companies may require the consumer to pay up-front fees often ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 or more, and monthly fees of several hundred dollars. Once the consumer pays the money, however, some companies fail to deliver the promised services. Some do nothing at all. Other companies will send a consumer forms to apply to the IRS for an “Offer in Compromise,” which the company knows will be rejected because of the IRS’s strict guidelines for debt forgiveness under that program (see below). The end result: the consumer is now $1,000 or more in the hole."
Now they've sent me this. I have to sign to a gag order or they won't help me with my case, after I've paid them thousands of dollars!!!
