I brought a mk2 cabin mobility scooter in December 2021 so helpful when you are buying it but once there have your money they don't want to know £9000 i payed then I had trouble with the battery's And cutting out after 2 miles down the road after pleading that I only just bought the scooter they took it back to orangebadge after they returned it after 2 weeks it was worse after paying £422 this was in April after phonein they say it will cost me £100 for someone from orangebadge to LOOK AT IT I RECKON GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT ORANGEBADGE JOHN MULLEN

I brought a mk2 plus cabin mobility scooter in December 2021 I had it serviced after my warranty ran out i payed £660.14 for 2 new batteries and 2 new tyres a week ago but it still isn't working properly i have phoned you to explain all I get is it will cost me £100 for someone to come here this is disgraceful I'm 70 and spent my life savings to buy it i explained i don't have any more money to spend on it i live in Kingston upon Thames Surrey KT1 2EP

Delivery was wonderful and driver very helpful. After care service poor. Brought scooter, battery didn’t hold its charge. So phoned up and the only way to get it looked at was to post it back. In the end I took it to another disability shop and was told the battery wasn’t even charging to the full. If they told me when I brought it they don’t cover my area to get repairs done, I would have never brought it from them. So before you buy check your in the area they cover.

My father needed a stairlift urgently and from the initial contact all the way through the process the staff were so caring and helpful. They were able to fit a stairlift very quickly and the engineer Mark was so lovely and patient with my elderly father and gave him the confidence he needed to use the stairlift. We are extremely grateful as a family for the help and attention we were given. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

From the moment I made the first telephone enquiry to the moment we paid the final account we were impressed by the professionalism of Orange Badge Mobility Solutions. All the staff were so helpful. We needed two chairlifts, both on stairs with bends. No problem Ben told us. He measured up on a Wednesday and they were fitted the following Tuesday! The fitter was amazing, worked all day and completed the installation in one day. No mess at all, didn’t even have to hoover up, a bonus for me! Both chairlifts work well, easy to use, my husband, a bit nervous at first , after 24 hours became a very proficient operator! I cannot recommend this Company enough for their professionalism in every way. No hard selling, which is a bonus these days. We have now ordered a third chairlift, this is in order to access a basement, even more challenging because of the situation and size, this will take longer to come because it is bespoke, but I have every confidence it will be as satisfactory as the other two. If you need any sort of chairlift I suggest you speak with Orange Badge Mobility Solutions, I hope, like me, you will be impressed….and I should add, I’m not always an easy lady to please! Keep up the good work OBMS, this couple are delighted to have met you, and will be recommending you to others.

We have recently had Orange Badge install a safe shower room in the upstairs bathroom and install a chairlift. We have been impressed by the quality of their work and communications at every level have been excellent. Various consultants (including technical ones) visited several times before the works started and then at the end. We would like to mention in particular, Rick, the person who installed most of the bathroom, as being very skilled and working at pace during the four weeks he was here. He also had excellent people skills. We have been given a two year guarantee of the works should anything go wrong.

Orange Badge updated our bathroom to provide safe and easy access to the shower. From start to finish all contact was friendly, professional and considerate of my husbands health needs. The quality of all materials and fittings is the best we have seen. The completed work was checked and signed off and all the rubbish was removed and the driveway swept to leave the property clean and tidy. Very impressed.

An excellent product, perfect for the lift for what I want to lead. The team who installed the lift, were professional and so helpful and always worked to the highest standards. It was a pleasure to meet the team and we, my husband and I, were so impressed with the service and after service provided. I had a customer who sadly had lost his mobility in a car accident. I told him about Orange badge. His life was so transformed, his new wheel chair allows him to be lifted, so he can reach into kitchen wall cabinets and cook which he loves. Orange badge changed his life.

We would advise you to remove names and screen shots or sensitive information which is a breach of GDPR. It is very sad that a reputable company such as ourselves with many many more positive reviews than the odd negative review be subjected to this type of treatment from the same customer twice. If you order items on websites and pay online you would naturally pay for the item first, this of course does not give us the opportunity of physically talking to you first. When we do receive the orders and if there are issues as items not physically being in stock then we contact customers just like we did with your self’s quickly to offer alternatives or indeed a refund. You kindly placed an order with us via our website and paid online, some hours later you then phoned to cancel the item as you hadn’t received a receipt for your purchase within 10 minutes of your order (strange), we called you to say we would send you a receipt for your purchase straight away. Please make sure you do your research before making a purchase as they misrepresent the availabilities of their items on their website and you will have trouble to get your refund, here is our story. So we found an electric wheelchair on their website for a paralysed relative who needed it so we made an order on 7th of September 2023 for a foldable electric wheelchair, the money was taken out of our account £2095 and the order was confirmed half an hour later. Three days later we get a call from them saying the wheelchair we ordered is out of stock and they do not know when they will be getting them MAYBE early October so they suggested we look at another wheelchair which we declined as we wanted what we paid for. My first question was why would you show the item being available on your website if you do not have it in stock or at least let people know so they can decide whether to make the purchase or go somewhere else before you take peoples hard earned money. We then asked for a refund which a lady from their account department by the name of Alison said she refunded the money on Friday the 8th of September and we should have the money back in our account on the Monday the 11th. However, this didn't happen. We then call them again and they said they have issued the refund but now it shows on their system that we should get it by 13th which is today and yet we haven't received the refund and when we called Alison she said there is nothing they can do as the money has already been taken out from their account. Which if it has then we would have our money back by now!! I have liaised with my bank and they have confirmed no transfer has been made from this company. I am currently seeking advice from a legal firm the best way to move forward and considering making a police report for fraud and small court claim if this doesn't get resolved soon. I shall keep you updated when we will be getting our money back in the mean time the disabled relative person who this wheelchair was for, is still waiting for a new wheelchair but we cannot get her another wheelchair because we haven't had our money yet. Thank you for all the stress and anxiety you have been causing us!!! it took you half an hour to take our £2095 from our account but a week later we are still waiting for a refund. Excellent customer service - the Orange Badge team were very polite and helpful to us both over the phone and in person. My grandma had a problem with her scooter and they were able to get it repaired quickly and efficiently with an on site engineers visit. We will use this company again and would recommend them!

Hello the after sales service is a joke there they are happy to take your money but the after sales is non existent you phone they are on the phone and will ring you back no phone call I got a engineer out eventually after 7weeks they had to send for a part another 4 weeks yes came to fit wrong part again waiting another 4 weeks phoned and still waiting for part the engineer I spoke to was so condescending it was unbelievable taking me for a idiot I would strongly advise you not to shop with this company go to somewhere reputable and cares about your needs

Having already purchased both a mobility scooter and portable ramp from OrangeBadge with relative ease and little problem we then decided to buy an adjustable bed from them to help with my wife’s back problems. We ordered a superking adjustable twin bed with 6’6” mattresses (as I am 6’3”) on the 9th September 2022 and paid a 50% deposit. We were told of the warranty on the frame and the motors (different warranties) but with nothing in writing. The bed was delivered on 12th October but without the castors ! Obviously OrangeBadge had not organised a check that it was complete before delivery. The castors were delivered and fitted by an employee on his way home the next night who complained that he had not been aware it was a large bed and that they would be more difficult to fit. There was no paperwork with the bed - no actual receipt for the purchase, nothing with regards to the warranties (other than a general warranty statement for all their products on the Customer Order form, nothing specific for the bed) and nothing at all about use of the bed. We had ordered and paid for a long version of the bed (and the order was readily accepted) due to my height and the fact it would fit in the bedroom. When I measured the mattresses though they were only 6’3” and not the 6’6” ordered. When I queried this the salesman came back a few days later having spoken to the manufacturer and said that was the standard size and they didn’t do a longer mattress version despite taking our order. I had actually queried the length with the guy who had fitted the castors previously and his answer was that it gets longer when you lie on it !!!!!!!! Unfortunately as our old bed had been removed when this one was delivered we had no alternative other than to accept that we had been given incorrect information and that OrangeBadge had taken an order for a bed they could not provide, had taken the money for and was detailed on the Customer Order. For some weeks after the bed was delivered my wife’s back was no better at all and she still ended up sleeping in a chair in the lounge. As OrangeBadge were being no help at all despite the numerous calls and emails, I looked online at adjustable beds and found a website that gave instructions about how to adjust the slats for the various sleeping positions. Once I did this the result was dramatic and my wife now sleeps well. At no time did OrangeBadge ever volunteer any information about adjustments and when I asked why their answer was that the manufacturer (OneRehab) did not provide customer information (like slat adjustments, use of other bed adjustments for head and feet) and they weren’t going to either. A one page diagram of how to best adjust the slats would have done, perhaps they don’t have the necessary knowledge. Anyway, ever since delivery and despite many many emails to both the salesman Simon and Ben (who I believe is a director) asking for a proper receipt, specific guarantee information and usage/adjustment information booklet absolutely nothing has been forthcoming. In fact all I have had is a refusal to provide the documents/information. This has been the situation for over 6 months. It would appear that once they have your money they are not interested in giving support or learning from customer feedback at all. Being disabled is difficult and depressing enough as it is and we think that companies who sell products for the disabled should have empathy, understanding and do as much as possible to help and give requested support to their customers. OrangeBadge have comprehensively failed to do that with this expensive purchase and we are very disappointed with the experience and unfortunately will not be using them again.

The after sales service is not the best, promise to call you back then don't,once you do get to talkto them you wait days for someone to come round leaving you stuck at home

Really amazing company from the initial call from Ben and the visit from Paul to the stairlift installation from Ian, everyone has been great. The whole process went smoothly and all were professional, friendly, considerate and without the awful hard sell of other companies. Will use them again for a new shower and would recommend them to anyone
