“Booked a lakeside lodge on cotswold water park isis lake 08 Bulrush. They stated it was a 4/5 star accommodation and charged £930 for a week. Well the floors were dirty, it smelt. The outside was rotting and filthy, the rotting wood made our dog ill. Old fashioned furniture,
Dirty windows. Dirty walls. Cobwebs. Stained curtains. Looked like it hadn’t had a paint in years. Stained heaters. Dodgy toilet flush in main bathroom that kept coming off. Rotting wood in main bathroom. Stained bedding. Certainly not a 4/5 star more of a 2/3. It should be removed from there listing until it’s sorted. Totally disappointed. Nothing was cleaned properly considering COVID 19 the handles were dirty and was obvious they hadn’t been wiped and anti bac sprayed as they should have been.”
