“Very slow to refund a return. Lots of chasing up. Took a month, they ignore emails and are totally unprofessional. Would not use again.”

“Have received a pair of boots that had already been worn and sent back to them as faulty. Cannot get through to any department in outdoorsgb. Absolutely awful. Paid on line. Assume I have lost that. Nov 2020.”

“My experience is the same as some of the more recent reviews. Something definitely not right with this company. Ordered a coat for my husbands birthday, took my money, did not send the item. I had to chase a week later and they said on the phone "so sorry its not left the warehouse yet" and that they'd ship it that day. then half an hour later, got an email saying its miraculously out of stock and would I like to select a different item. No thanks. I doubt I'd have ever been contacted by them if I hadn't been in touch first. I am still waiting for a refund after being told it would be made on Friday. Seems like they want to hold people's money for some reason - to boost their credit rating, and fake having items in stock. Really weird store and I advise anyone to never use them.”

“###Poor service### Before ordering shoe i asked if they were in stock and they said yes, so ordered and money taken from bank account and then a week later they said they were not in stock, so cancelled order.”

“I ordered 6 items. 2 fleece waistcoats- they are so thin they are see through in the light! 3 pairs waterproof trousers. 2 have ripped from the pocket in a week. A waterproof jacket where the lining has been missed in stitching and is hanging out! Terrible quality and no response from customer services. Avoid.”

“Poor returns policy. Postage is not free on returns and original postage is not covered in the refund. Will not use again when so many similar retailers offer free returns and full refund.”

“Impossible to get a return address. !! Sent many emails, no reply .. 2 of the phone numbers I found for them are out of action, one that seemed to work just had voicemail, and they ignore messages there. After 8 days I sent the item via Hermes , signed for, to an office address on thier invoice. I will contact my credit card co if a refund does not happen. I think they maybe about to go bust - this is what happens when a company is going under - stay clear.”

“Apparantley my email address, the one I logged in and bought something with doesn't exist, 2 days after buying something, just hope it turns up. They have taken the money from my credit card. Tried to phone but's a Friday afternoon and not open until Monday.”

“The company as a whole is terrible. Order the product and got an email the same day saying that it will take longer and to let them know if I want it or not. I replied to the email stating that I wanted the order. After around a week or two, I emailed customer services to ask whether or not my order had been shipped and they stated they did not receive the email sent about sending the order. They refused to put this review on their website so thought i’d put it here. They also ignored some of my emails complaining.”

“I'm not sure why, but when I was looking around for some new boots I noticed that in almost all cases the online retailer either got 5 stars or 1 star regardless of their high street reputation, and OutdoorGB seem to unfortunately be no exception. My experience of using OutdoorGB as a new customer was outstanding. An excellent choice including the product I wanted at a good price, and delivery within 2.5 days (I selected 2-4 day delivery). Communication was excellent with information given at every step. I wouldn't hesitate to use OutdoorGB again.”
