“I have had multiple packages, food and laundry items stolen since moving in November. The website says there is security on the premises. The camera outside is broken, and there is nothing on the inside where packages are left. Things are stolen rampantly from anywhere common items are left. I was also being harassed by a tenant and management refused to take action. They will likely respond to this saying they "did what they could", however there is a written Zero-Tolerance Harassment policy on the site that they refused to enforce, and I continued to be harassed and physically threatened until the tenant left on their own accord. Management has not answered in any way how they plan to recover packages or protect future items. Overall, Outpost shows an utter refusal to help tenants in the way a normal landlord or apartment company would. If you think you're getting a good deal, you're not.Your packages will be stolen, you will have to buy lockboxes to keep any items in the kitchen, fridge, or laundry room.”

The house attracts a really diverse crowd—artists, remote workers, students, travelers—and the vibe is welcoming without being overwhelming. Everyone was respectful and chill. I had my own room, which was small but cozy, with good light and reliable A/C (a must in the summer). The kitchen and lounge area were always clean, and the backyard was such a nice bonus—I spent a lot of evenings out there reading or chatting with housemates.
Bushwick itself is full of character: murals on every corner, great little cafés, vintage shops, and easy access to Manhattan via the L train. Outpost made it easy to settle in without the usual NYC headaches. No broker fees, no sketchy landlords, no Craigslist weirdness. Just a well-run system that gave me exactly what I was looking for.”
