“The shed itself is fine and looks exactly as advertised. However, a lot of the nails from the outer board missed the main beam that they nailed on. New wood split where the nail entered yet they send it the same way. I thought the shed was meant to be new! I have specifically asked for the door hinge to be fitted on the right-hand side and promised as they informed me {Live chat & email} that it can be customised. I emailed them, however, the shed came with the hinge on the left, If I were to change it to the right-hand side it would leave holes in the new board, please consider a specific request. It would be better to send the door and the hinge unattached. The online instruction is something that can be easily modified yet they send the long screws and different sets of wood without correctly illustrating where they go. The woods are not bundled with any labels and there is no mention of the long screws. The picture should match the actual flooring however they provided a digital image that is different from the actual base. Therefore for someone to put this shed together without any knowledge they make it much more difficult.
The size of the shed [8 x 11 apex] I believe that the felt should glue down, no adhesive was sent with the shed, felt kept sliding. some of the screws had manufacture defects and they are no extras, had to buy more screws. Yes, I know wood can warp, however, the six-floor panels are so difficult to match evenly because it was not accurately cut. The floor panel could have been labelled A-H to make life easier. I gave it a 3 stars because I like the shed itself. The shed guide needs updating with all components and {floor} the actual picture.”
“One of the lengths of felt was short. So there was insufficient felt to wrap over either side of roof. Luckily I had some to hand that I was able to use, otherwise I would not have been able to complete the build. Some of the wood did split, especially on the door. The delivery was efficient.”
