I bought a rather expensive microwave (Model NN-SN95HS). With my previous model (NN-T990SA), the door popped slightly open when the door release button was pressed. With the new one, when I press the door release button I can hear the lock release, but when I let go of the release button to pull the door open, it relocks itself. It does not pop open as the older model did. You have to hold the release button in and pull the door open. This requires two hands--quite inconvenient. If I just got a bad microwave, I would like to exchange it for a good one. But if Panasonic designed the newer model to require two hands to open, it would be a waste of my time to return this large, heavy appliance. And the bigger problem: I CANNOT GET A HOLD OF ANYONE AT PANASONIC--not online, not by phone, not by email--to ask the simple question: Did I get a product with a defective door release, or is this the way the new model is intended to work? I used to consider Panasonic my go-to brand for many products, but the current level of customer service (and iffy product quality) means I may never shop Panasonic again.

I have a microwave that the door is continuing dropping. Panasonic called and told me I need to take it to a service centre to access. Explained I could not do this as it is outside my area and gave. I way of getting the microwave there. If I posted it I would gave to pay the cost. Will not buy another Panasonic product

What's happen to Panasonic's quality? I purchased a DVD player from Panasonic 18 months ago(just quit-wont engage or do anything). In March 2025 I purchased a bluray DVD player, this item didn't even last 75 days(I contacted where I purchased,and they have already issued a credit to card). It is doing,or not doing anything(acts like it's in neutral and won't engage). It's very strange they both quit on almost the same day.

DEFECTIVE Glass tray does not turn. Pls EXCHANGE. Ticket #130916 Dear Panasonic Manager, -Model number: NN-ST99JSCWH -Serial number: 6E74250099 -Proof of purchase (Receipt) See attached Bought BRAND NEW Panasonic Microwave 1 days ago. BUT DEFECTIVE GLASS TRAY DOES NOT TURN, after install. Paid workers to install this heavy 75 pound microwave due to my back surgery. Please take notice that I’m a senior with a bad back surgery and heart problems unable to take this 75lb HEAVY Wall-mount microwave back to the dealer again, and then buy the same one AGAIN. We have ALREADY paid workers to come in and install this microwave. The glass tray doesn’t turn. Now, we have to pay them again to take this back to the dealer and then pay a THIRD time to have a new one installed again. Please do the right thing & EXCHANGE. Send us a brand new model of this MW to my home and take this defective one back to your service department, & fix it as you wish. ( just like the dealer would send it to Panasonic). Thx.
