Me, my partner, 2 young daughters and our dog drove for 4hours then upon arriving at the booked caravan we were met with a very vile smell, human hair, dirt, earwax on a pillow and faeces smeared on the sofa.  I shared my issues with the lady on reception who told me housekeeping would come up and to wait for a call from the manager. We refused to stay there but Park holidays refused to refund or offer alternative accommodation so we drove 45 minutes to alternative accommodation we had to arrange at last minute. The park have done nothing but deny this and still will not help, save your money and book elsewhere. This case is now with the small claims court due to the financial and mental health issues caused to my family. Unfortunately can only upload one photo.

Just got home from my holiday at Newhaven in Derbyshire a very quiet site my caravan was immaculately clean the staff were very polite and helpful being a cyclist and walker the surrounding area has miles of beautiful very safe off road trails and is close to many lovely towns to discover Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton are just a few definitely worth a visit if if you want peace and quiet definitely recommended.

Food sold in parks holidays restaurant is absolutely rubbish. Rubbish RUBBISH and expensive Do not eat their low class food. Whole family were vomiting afterwards and we had diarrhoea.

Although there was only two of us we booked a 6berth silver plus caravan in Dovercourt and it was the worst caravan we have ever used. The cord on the roller blinds kept breaking, the bedroom door wouldn't close, you couldn't take the hand held shower unit out of its holder to allow you to rinse your lower body. The TV was locked to only 22 channels (half of which were radio) and no Freeview. Asked for this to be fixed but it didn't happen. The worst thing by far was the lack of kitchen equipment. Only one roasting/oven tray and only one microwave bowl. One serving spoon and no scissors, cheese grater etc. Minimum would be pushing it. There were 6 cups, glasses and cutlery placings - great but not if you can't cook anything! There is absolutely no way that 6 people could be fed but perhaps this is their way of forcing you to go to the onsite restaurant! We didn't do that but we did leave earlier than planned and will never go back.

We stayed in new beach dymchurch in what was supposed to be gold plus …. It was dirty, outdated, shower tray mouldy, dirty carpet and sofa area stained. The carpet was also fraying …. Cooker was dirty and the knobs fell off …. VERY disappointed. We paid for early check in and it looked like someone just chucked the covers on the bed and left…. the cleaners need to know who to clean… WILL NOT BE RETURNING

Dear Park Holiday Head office, I am giving no stars to this caravan site as I have arrived to the St Osyth holiday park today and I am extremely disappointed. We have booked 3 bedroom caravan with early checking however they send me an email stating that we should arrive at 4pm which we did. Furthermore the caravan is extremely dirty as you can see on the pictures attached to my email. The manager promised to clean caravan which delayed even further possibility of using facilities in the caravan. The cleaners said that they are unable to clean mould in a bathroom! This is disgusting and unacceptable as my son has allergies and asthma and this kind of conditions could just spike his asthma attack. We have requested to be moved to different caravan but manager was very unhelpful saying that she cannot do anything about it. Would she do something if my son had to go to hospital due to this unhealthy conditions? It's unacceptable what we are going through since arriving here. Both of my children want to go back home! It's stinks in this caravan! We all don't want to be here!!! I am requesting full refund as soon as possible so I can go back home. I just send this email to park holidays and guess what?! They will respond as per below within 3 days!!!! “Thank you for contacting Guest Care, we aim to respond to your enquiry within 3 working days. Yours Sincerely, Guest Care Park Holidays UK” They are shocking!!!

NEW Wouldn't even give it 1 star, worst experience ever, repeatedly lied to by manager and assistant, put in adapted caravan we didn't book, wet room disgusting, accomodation manager and assistant tried to clean it, no storage, no loo roll holder, etc. if I was disabled and been given this I would have cried and felt I was being treated as a second class, uncared for citizen, dirty utensils and frying pan etc. had to be replaced. No proper bed, 2 singles pushed together, unzipped mattresses, no mattress topper, plastic coverd mattress, flat sheets that didn't stay on, awful duvet, supposed to be upgraded Gold Plus but at least 5 years old, found out the caravan we should have had was occupied by someone else. Customer care won't discuss it just pass it back to Carlton Meres who don't give a damn, even the accomodation manager said it was horrible. Offered £30 food vouchers as compensation. Moved 2 days before we came home, this wasn't much better, ripped & missing net currains, filthy grill pan, noisy neighbours. Would never ever use again and would not recommend, only good point value for money meals in the bar.

This was our fifth and unfortunately final stay with Park Holidays, we've stayed at four other sites before this one and they were all absolutely excellent until now, our lodge was damaged in one corner with a broken piece of plastic. The patio door wouldn't open, a chap popped round to fix the door it but it still wouldn't open properly, we had utensils missing from lodge, the fireplace didn't work. The on-site amusement arcade was very messy and most of the games were not working, holiday units were dumped in the roads and outside the restaurant, the children's play area was very small, not many activities for the kids on the site. The lodges were stacked very close together with very little view. Work tools including saws and plastic planks belonging to holiday units dumped around the park. The lodges are the furthest units from the beach, in fact they are right next to the main road. No shop on site, although the nearest shop is only about 10 minutes walk away. Unfortunately the park staff have a serious 'I don't care' attitude and treat holiday makers as an inconvenience, which is most unlike Park Holidays staff we've met before.

Im a Dissabled O.A.P. in 2011 I got a mobile home on there Felixstowe site they wanted to use my large trailor to deliver gas bottles ect around the site I said they could buy it and a price was agreed on in front of three witness, after three years they still had not paid for it, So I took them to the small claims court , they settled out of court. But they were not pleased My car was vandalised and then they sent around three of there staff to disconnect my electric and water and gas this was in January 2015 and was very cold ,I had no option but to leave my home , when they cut the electric they cut the burgler alarm and it was broken into and everything was stolen from it, I had to live in my car with my old dog whilst all this was being sorted out, by police ect,, Park holidays then got rid of my mobile home and said I didn't own it ? lie after lie after lie , if your thinking of buying a caravan or mobile home don't buy from these rip off merchants they just don't care ,

I booked a platinum caravan for a week in August 2015 at the Seaview holiday park in Seasalter Kent it cost over £800 and it was a disgrace! Dead flies and insects in light fittings, furniture stained and dirty carpet stained and so dirty children's feet got dirty walking on it, bits of food/dirt in freezer, shower black in mould in parts that had clearly not been cleaned correctly, microwave rusty inside, pillows stained brown, not pillow cases pillows, beds not even made and curtains at the windows that fell down if touched and nets so dirty we thought they were beige but they were white after washing! Other issues all raised with manager who just said, "its the cleaners!" I wrote to head office 3 times the responses were totally unsatisfactory, Park do not deserve to be in business in my opinion, we will never trust them again

If you or one of you're party are disabled, DON'T go to lakeside at Chichester. if you go for a meal or entertainment, there is NO toilet facilities in the centre. You would have to go a 1/4 mile each way to the disabled bathroom on the touring site. Great when its raining, on a motability scooter. The staff manageress was so rude that my partner stayed in caravan for the duration. having complained they said, we don't need a D/T coz its an old building. When I told the site manager that I had put this on facebook, he said he wasn't bothered. Not even an offer of any refund / another few days later in the year.
