At PedalYard, our mission is powered by personalized one-on-one attention. We’ve started over 3000 kids and adults on their cycling journey. Our private lessons are safe, fun, and fast, and most riders learn to pedal confidently in less than an hour. We provide all the equipment and a safe place to learn. “My 8 year old daughter and 6 year old son recently took a lesson with Marc from PedalYard. Marc was very patient with my son as he learned how to navigate the bike, and my daughter left the lesson riding her bike like a pro, after only one lesson. They understand how kids work and inspire confidence in new riders. Would definitely recommend to help teach your kids!”

“Did'nt believe it when Marc told me how easy and stress free it would be , but after an hour my 8 year old daughter was riding. With a couple days practice i'm positive that, she will be out and about with her friends cruising our cul de sac.. What an amazing experience. Thanks Marc & PedalYard...”

“Brought my daughter to an event at the school. We had a few people jump in and help my daughter but Jon worked magic with her. She was frozen on the bike and wouldn’t move. Jon came over and helped her and within 20 min she was riding her bike… ALONE. Thank you so much”

“PedalYard was a great experience for me and my 2 kids, aged 4 and 5. It helped us understand the mechanics of balancing, and gave us great tips on how to start them riding bikes. Everything was included, even helmets. I would recommend giving it a try, especially if you want to get your kids riding quickly.”

“When looking for a unique and different idea for my son’s birthday party we came across Pedal Yard. Susan and Marc were incredible, they answered all of my questions and helped up get everything together in a short amount of time. Their staff was professional and catered to each child. Every parent felt it was the best birthday party they had been to.”

“After weeks failure and frustration of trying to teach my son how to ride his bike, I found Pedal Yard online. I spoke with Sue, and she assured me they would be able to help and that he would be riding by the end of the session. I was skeptical knowing how difficult it had been. While I filled out the release forms Marc spoke to my son. I walked up and Marc said "Ok, dad you're up!" I remember thinking what a waste of time. I drove 35 minutes to Hollywood just to be humiliated in front of strangers. I could not have been more wrong. The few words of encouragement Marc provided my son was the difference. In 20 minutes, my son went from falling as soon as he mounted the bike to pedaling 10 feet on his own. within 30 minutes he was riding 30 feet and my son had enthusiasm again and was said "Dad I can do this!" After an hour, my son was riding down the path like a pro and he didn't want to stop. He had confidence and even after a small fall he didn't give and got right back on kept going. It's been four days since this class and my son is so happy and excited to come home from school so he can ride his bike. Marc and his team set up a safe environment and provide the extra encouragement my son needed and is now ready to tackle anything in his way. They said "I did all the work" but their encouragement and safe space made it possible. If you are not sure, if you are on the fence and don't think they can help. I urge you to give them a try. If you have a group of parents that experiencing the frustration and utter defeat as I did. Invite Pedal Yard over to help. You'll be glad you did and let them prove your wrong like they did me.”

“Fantastic experience! I tried for 2 years to teach my daughter to ride a bike. But hadn’t realized I was transferring my fear of her falling, onto her. The coaches encouraged me to allow HER innate ability to balance on the bike, be controlled by her and not me. 30 minutes later she was riding one two wheels, all by herself!”

“Took my daughter to the North Miami location. She had never rode a balance bike before. She had a great time! The staff was very patient and helpful. They also understood the attention span of a 3 year old was not going to be very long in one place and had many other activities she could enjoy. Now she wants a bike! Highly recommended.”

“WOW!!! Went there with my two kids, 7 and 3 years old. My 7 was riding alone the second day! More than that, the atmosfere that Marc create is something amaizing to say the least! The connection with my kids that came in the time spent at Pedal Yard is a great memory that will stay with me forever!”
