I can't explain how nervous, anxious I was of moving home after many years. We had a lot of stuff, they made a stressful day turn out to go so smoothly, and the team had a great sense of humour and worked so hard but never complained. One of the men was scared of cats and we had a kitten and it was hillarious with our kids trying to hide the cat from him! Our sofa got stuck and wouldn't fit through the door, we were so impressed how they got it in by taking it over our new neighbours garage roof! They were just great, thanks!!”
“Absolutely excellent service from Pegler Removals. This was a late-booked jobbed as our prior booked removal company let us down. Pegler came recommended from our estate agent.
Team of two arrived and packed the day before. Excellent, efficient packing.
On the day of the move a team of four arrived, a little late because of traffic. But they quickly recruited a larger team to make sure we were packed and ready to leave by 2 pm.
Challenging removal of washing machine and dryer from upstairs tight cupboard, and removal of precious baby grand piano were handled very well. We decided last minute to bring three very large tree pots and olive trees and there were no complaints.
Very courteous and great attitude from everyone, even when past dusk we asked them to deadweight lift the olive trees to the very top of the garden up some steps.
The entire team were on good form and jovial throughout, taking a lots of stress out of otherwise stressful day. Great communication. All boxes ended up in the rooms we asked for them to go to at the other end.
NO hesitation whatsoever to recommend.”
“Three removal men arrived when stated at 8.30 and by 11.30 were ready to go on a two hour journey. I phoned my solicitor to see if completion would be 2pm as originally promised. In reality it was 5.15pm before I got the keys and the removal men could unload. They were all helpful and didn't complain about the waiting time of 3 hours.All items were unloaded by 7.15pm. Excellent company who I would whole heartedly recomend”
