“This company has Ireland in their domain name and a Belfast listing but when I ordered they shipped from the UK. I then got charged by customs for the import. The item was then seized by customs, so I end up out of pocket with no item.
Company’s response is: No refunds. We are willing to offer 50% of purchase price or item x instead.
I initially chose item x, just to have someone from them, then the next morning (a Sunday) emailed them to say id take the partial refund instead. Didn’t expect a response on Sunday, but got one basically saying ‘It’s shipped, also; it’s Sunday’
Remains to be seen if this order arrives or not. These may be fine if ordering in the UK but don’t order if you’re in Ireland.”
