“We were very satisfied with the service we received while negotiating and purchasing our Landrover Defender and in particular with our treatment by Alistair Grant. Having visited various local garages and not finding the specifications or the interaction we desired, we decided to contact your garage in Aberdeen. Our enquiry was answered by Alistair who looked after us all the way through the transaction.
He informed us of the vehicles he had at his disposal and sent an email that included a video of the cars available, we found this very helpful.
We drove north to Aberdeen to view the showroom’s selection of vehicles. When we arrived we were greeted and seated by Alistair and offered a very welcome hot drink.
After an initial conversation about our requirements we went out to see the Defenders and then for a test-drive. Throughout the test drive Alistair was reassuring, informative and clear with his directions. On returning to the showroom we discussed the vehicle we thought would meet our needs and felt more confident about our choice before leaving to drive back home to Fife.
A few days later we were able to set a date to return to Aberdeen to purchase the car. Alastair met us at the train station and drove us back to the showroom. The paperwork he had sent us prior to this meeting speeded up the transaction and ensured much of the interaction on the day was spent discussing aspects of the vehicle. The vehicle was unveiled in the showroom, which was a nice touch and a bottle of wine presented to my wife.
All through the transaction Alastair was courteous, patient and supportive and at no time did we feel coerced or compelled to buy the vehicle. He always addressed his conversation to both of us rather than one of us, which made us both, feel involved and engaged in the transaction.
Alistair managed to sell us the vehicle that we had been considering for a number of years, many other salesmen had not.”
