“DO NOT EVER get onechoice funeral insurance in NZ. 1. Its an Australian company based in Australia. 2. Their communication is the worst 3.their reviews are not an accurate representation of their products as all reviews are done by a third party and only allow for a review based on the initial contact you make with them. You cannot review any claims or anything apart from the first call you make too them. 4. Every time I have attempted too speak with a case.manager regarding a claim, he is always conveniently on another call and NEVER EVER CALLS BACK like they say they will so you end up calling at least twice a week with a promise of a call back and nothing ever happens. 5.if you POST your forms too the listed nz po box, well these get forwarded and posted too australia for their team there too process and handle. If you send.original documents and they get lost then.you are out of luck. They don't scan the forms in NZ they send them via post too australia, further prolonging your fckn claim and putting at risk your documents with the.possibility of them getting lost in international post!. Do not ever use this company. They took so long to process an early funeral insurance payout claim, because of terminal illness, that the claimant died before it was complete and they will ignore all attempts at contact too resolve the matter”

“Please be EXTREMELY CAREFUL using this company!!! 🙄They make it sooo easy to sign up online.. then you make payments for years, and they will contact you offering to up your life insurance by $10,000 or more because your such an excellent customer. SAY NO THANKS They ask you to send permission for them to obtain your medical records to process the extra free amount you are being awarded when you die etc for your family. Then they pick your doctors records to bits trying to find any tiny difference between what your 1st sign up says to what might be worded slightly differently in your records. If they find anything different at ALL, even things you didn't know your Doctor wrote in there..they will call you a fraud and cancel your insurance.. Then they go on to record your personal details on a national database so NO other insurance company will touch you in N.Z. .. Absolutely corrupt practice!! Also you can't open the comments on this particular ad.”
