“Ordered a plate for my father's 70th birthday. All details confirmed and all paid for. A week passes and no sign of any plate. I then received an email saying they had cancelled the order with no explanation. Money refunded to PayPal but still not processed yet. Stay well clear people.”

Without a completed transaction they took money from my account.
They provided different business details to my card company, which do not link back to them.
When this was discovered i received a week of emails trying to absolve their behaviour, even claiming money had been refunded. It had not.
The transaction was reported as suspicious to my card company and this firm were advised the card company would be pursing the issue but the emails continued.”
“Bought a cherished number and paid 20% deposit. Few hours later was contacted by platefinder who said they could not sell it and that they wanted more money above the agreed price!
Taking legal advice with a solicitor and writing to DVLA about their shoddy practices.”
