A bit strange to receive brand new batteries in a not original package. No boxes, no original bags. I ordered one Makita and one Dewalt battery and they were sealed in "home made" plastic bag. Even China Ali Express do better packages. Price is better than other sites. I hope batteries are original, but big question mark ??? for package.

Having received my order I was surprised to find the Makita power tool came minus a Makita box. I was told by Powertoolsuk this was because Makita send tools out without a box to help save the planet! Having spoken to Makita, they said that they would never send power tools without a box.

I received my item in a plastic bag and a box which was for nuts and bolts not very impressed.

prices are alright delivery is okay too didn’t take too long however when it arrived the rail for my skill saw was bent . this means it has ether been thrown about while in the box or a bent one was put in when you packaged it . this also means my skillsaw has take a bash as well . either way one of my items was damaged so a 3 star as i’m feeling generous

Dear Customer We are somewhat at a loss regarding your review of our company and products due to the product listed and accompanying rail to suit. Your order ......894 placed with us on the 27th September listed as 1 off DeWALT Circular Saw DCS565P2 complete with 5Ah Batteries, no other products are listed against this order number. We would also add that we do not sell Skill machines within our portfolio therefore could not have sold the machine and rail you review against us. As can happen when multi-purchasing we think you got your wires crossed and posted this review to the wrong company, would there be a possibility of removing it. It is hard enough to get customers to leave positive service and product reviews without the added problem of collected other companies errors. Dear Customer Thanks for getting in contact regarding the 18v Bosch Circular Saw ordered from us and pointing out that the security seal was broken on arrival. We take time with every shipment to double-check that we have picked the correct item and importantly the product is exactly as described including any accessories or additions the customer has requested from us. To confirm that the checking system has passed and the order is ready for packing both employees responsible for the specific shipment place a personal stamp on the shipping paperwork. To complete this task in certain cases, we break the box seal to examine the machine and any possible accessories that accompany or have been added to the shipment. Good value for money Dewalt naked tools. However when stated that items are available in stock, that they weren’t despatched for a week after I’d placed the order.

Hi Alan Many thanks for taking the time to advise me of this shortfall in service, I have looked into your order and would like to apologise for this order running late on delivery. We had the two DeWALT machines in stock, it was the Smart Multi-Blade Set that caught us out this time, the stock shipment with the 8pce sets did not hit the warehouse when we expected them and further to that we did not keep you in the loop about your order. Power Tools UK have a good range of stock but they charge for delivery and the delivery takes a long time. Little information was given about the delivery until I emailed them asking what was happening with the delivery. (I did get a prompt reply to my email). I have not used this company before, I bought a drill as no one else had one in stock. Get the delivery to free next day (like most of the other tool stores) and I will come back.

Hi Paul Thanks for giving us this feedback, it allows us to look into our system to check how things are working or why you raised points against us on this occasion. I have looked into the overall way we handled and processed this order and am a little unsure exactly where we went wrong. You were good enough to place your order at 22.13pm on Saturday 23rd April, we picked this up during business on Monday and processed it through our system shipping out on Tuesday 26th by Parcelforce with an SMS message sent through to you at 20.35 that evening. Our standard shipping service is 48hrs, notification was sent at 8.03am on the 28th advising of out for delivery with delivery completed at 12.18pm the same day. As per the individual product page, we show the delivery schedule as a maximum of 3 to 4 working days, we do not work at weekends, at all times we try to improve this schedule and on this occasion, I fully acknowledge we squeaked into the delivery window to you but I do understand your frustration on this occasion Loading on the warehouse can be difficult at times, some weekends we are extremely busy as per the weekend of the 23rd, thanks for pointing out your frustration I will look at future weeks to see if any improvement can be made. I normally buy my Milwaukee gear from another company with a similar name. I accidentally ended up on their site and noticed the good price for the Milwaukee cut off tool so purchased from them instead. From purchasing, delivery took about 10 days. I'm assuming it was a new tool as it looked unused but that didn't explain why it wasn't brand new in a sealed box. It was in a plastic bag, rattling around in an old beaten-up box for a Bosch router. Certainly not the "new tool experience" I was expecting.

Unfortunately I have not received my drill,which I was relying on, as my old one packed up This is the fault of the courier DPD not Powertools Uk I’ve had to buy a another one from screwfix instead.

Was disappointed that the power tool I ordered came only in its material carry case with a plastic mail order bag around it, for a product of £160 I would have expected either bubble wrap or an outer box. Hoping it works fine, was a Christmas present so yet to be used.

Not the easiest to order from questioned sending item different house number then got delivered to the wrong address to be taken to a post office for collection not sure I'd order from again bein honest

As you are aware you gave us one private address for billing and one private address (next door neighbour) as the delivery address. We cross checked with you regarding number 12 and number 10 in case you had inadvertently miss keyed the address. You asked us to deliver to your elderly neighbour as they are always in. We tried to deliver to number 10 as instructed without success due to no rely, you were advised by SMS Message that the package was available for collection at your local port office. You duly collected from the P/O later that day what more would you have expected from us, we did exactly what you asked Regards Lumsden Director Power Tools UK
