“BE AWARE! Head gasket on car brought from here had gone after doing 2744 miles. My sister got the car that she hardly uses and within 5 months had to call the AA out due to no coolant. That was only 2744 miles of using. This would of been full when she brought the car due to just being “serviced” once topped up it lasted another 2479 miles untill the same happend. The AA then done a test and said its head gasket faliure. The AA delivered it straight to a garage and they also have done the test and said the same that the head gasket has gone. If my sister done alot of driving this would have been noticed alot earlier on. Which then would fall into there warranty period even though the first report to the AA was made before the warranty ended. My sister didnt think nothing of it as the AA just topped the collant up. My poor sister paid for the car out right and now had a massive bill to get it fixed. Please be very carefull when buying cars from here as i dont wish this on anyone especially a few weeks before Christmas. I have attached some photos to. I am not one to write reviews normally but this cant be happening to people. Also they have said they wont be sorting it but have gave a quote to fix it. Ridiculous.”
“Bad warranty experience.
After receiving a phone call to inform me a part had arrived, I took the car in at the arranged time only to be told the part had not arrived.
On receiving a second phone call some 10 days later telling me the part had now arrived ,I took the car in again on to be told the wrong part had arrived.
I would like to know why you phone to arrange repair when the part was not in stock, then phone a week later when the part was wrong. Do you not check before telling customers to turn up ?Obviously not.
Buy why should you,it's not your time your wasting travelling back and forth. Terrible service that could easily be rectified BY CHECKING FIRST. !”
“Buying a car from Prestige Cars Kent was a genuine pleasure. Paul's professionalism and expertise made the entire process incredibly smooth and straightforward, with most of the work done over the phone. When I arrived to sign the papers and hand over my old car, Jess was equally professional and took care of everything, including the road tax. The service was outstanding! I drove away in my new car with everything perfectly sorted. I highly recommend Paul and Jess and will definitely return and recommend them to my friends!”
“We looked at the advertisement on an Autotrader and schedule a viewing and test drive. And we bought a car after 3 days. Overall it is a pleasant experience and we are happy with the car. Paul was helpful and good with responding and follow up throughout.”
“What a shambles. I purchased a BMW M4 Compition. Agreed a price for my part ex. It was done on the basis that my new car would be delivered and they would collect my part ex. When that was agreed I paid my deposit. I was told the handover department would be in touch. No I had to phone them. I then spoke to a very obnoxious woman called Emma. Who said I had to bring my part ex to them. And the deal I was offered whereby they charged me £400 for delivery was never agreed. I then managed to sell my car privately. The delivery was arranged for the Friday. Both Josh and another girl Daisy whom was ok. Told when I asked the condition of the car. I was told it is immaculate. I will come back to this at the end. Any Friday came. The delivery was on time. On inspection of the car. It had a few scratches and more swirls than a curly wurly. I was pretty stuffed as I would have been left with no transport if I refused the car. In hind sight I wish I had. I also had to phone the dealership about 30 times because they don't return calls or emails. Including the General Manager. The driver then left. I tried to tax the car off the green slip. They had somehow given me the green slip off the first owners log book not the second. Luckily after a lot of chasing they taxed it at there local post office. I still had to speak to a business manager to chase up for the receipt from the post office so I knew it had been done. He also gave me the General Managers email. Whom I contacted. And like the rest of his staff ignored me. The cost to make my m4 immaculate is £1795. The car is booked in July 8th. This company should be banned. They are by a country mile the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. Do not buy a car off this company.

“Terrible company, months of issues started as soon as they got their money. Lies, broken promises, complete incompetence, are all too pleasant for what I’ve experienced. Formal complaints ignored, they have my money but I don’t have a car….they don’t even care. I hope you don’t purchase through them and experience the same the stress has made me ill. No one has helped.”
“What a complete shambles of a service centre.
Poorly staffed, awful communication, unable to get through, rude staff, constant delays, NOBODY calls you back, think twice about using this garage for anything unless you enjoy being kept in the dark and made to feel like a nuisance.
Worst customer experience I’ve ever had the misfortune to encounter!!!!”
“If I could give 0 stars I would. I reserved a car for fully refundable £99. Decided against the car and still haven’t received the refund after a month. They took the money and have fobbed us over ever since.”
“Absolute sh*t show of a place. They said they were buying my car through motorway, finally got hold of them after numerous calls for them to say that they could only pick my car up a month from when they agreed on a price as miraculously all their transport drivers were off sick. So we persevered with it as they guaranteed that they would collect the car a month after. After around 8 calls I made and every time someone saying I would get a call
Back i finally received my first call
Saying that after 3 weeks of me having my car off sale for them that they had come to an agreement with the directors and they couldn't buy my car because they had too much stock! I had since left a deposit on another vehicle which I will now not get back, the cap values have dropped on my car as we have gone into a new month and now I have to go through all the hassle again on trying to sell it. I would never use these guys again, absolute cowboys, no customer service skills and don’t have a clue on how to run a business.”
“Absolutely shocking, paid a deposit as instructed to reserve the car and take it off sale and 24 hours later I’m told the car has been sold to someone else. It then takes 5 phones calls to 5 members of staff, 2 text messages and over 24 hours to get my deposit back. Adam take a bow 👎 your second poor review 👏.
Plenty of car garages to buy from, clearly I’ve had a close shave avoiding buying with Prestige cars Kent.”
“Had a good experience with Oshane Harris who was a great guy, the car was fine, but they told me we couldn’t invoice it to our chosen finance company but had to use theirs, which started off at £3500 dearer than our company, then down to £2500 dearer, then they put us in touch with another finance broker that were competitive, but they dragged their heels and then finally came back to say they couldn’t do the rate they quoted us and increased their rate by another £10/month which wasn’t then competitive.
Oshane then came back and said it could be invoiced to our chosen finance company , this was then nearly a week later.
Once that was sorted, I had to fill in war and peace it seemed 11 forms I had to sign and scan back, then download an App so that they could harvest all my personal details, it was very time consuming for me and seemed to me to be completely irrelevant, they had been paid for the car prior to this debacle!
The car was fine, which they kindly handed over to my client for me, Oshane was a top guy, but the companies processes are in my view sales prevention and laboriously over complicated!!”
“I am absolutely livid with the way Prestige Cars Kent has conducted their business. Their actions have demonstrated a complete lack of integrity, ethics, and professionalism. I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with this dealership to think twice before proceeding.
I initially expressed interest in purchasing a car from Prestige Cars Kent, and even put down a deposit of £250 to secure my purchase. However, I was utterly appalled when I was informed that the value of the car had increased from the agreed upon price of £32,802 to a staggering £37,775. This is a blatant attempt to take advantage of customers and exploit them for financial gain.
To make matters worse, I discovered that the car was priced £3,500 above the market average when I conducted a price comparison check on Auto Trader. This is a clear indication that Prestige Cars Kent is engaging in underhanded and unethical business practices.
Their conduct with regards to the finance with Santander is equally reprehensible. They submitted a finance check to Santander, which was approved and signed by me, only to increase the value of the car later on. This is a complete violation of their ethical responsibilities to provide transparent and accurate pricing information to customers.
When I attempted to hold them accountable for their actions, they refused to take responsibility and attempted to shift the blame onto an unknown person within their organisation. This is a clear indication of their lack of accountability and integrity.
As if their previous actions weren't enough to make me frustrated, I must also address the outrageous conduct of Adam Highwood at Prestige Cars Kent. During my initial engagement with him, I sent him a link of a vehicle I was looking at from another dealership. He had the audacity to ring them and enquire about the specifications, while simultaneously throwing shade on the other dealership and degrading their pricing and professionalism. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. He then continued to lie to me, claiming that the car had been sold when in fact it had not. This is a blatant attempt to manipulate me into purchasing a car from Prestige Cars Kent instead, and demonstrates a complete disregard for my best interests as a customer. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It is clear that Prestige Cars Kent and their employees will stop at nothing to make a quick profit, even if it means engaging in underhanded and unethical business practices.
When I informed Adam that I was seeking legal advice from Trading Standards and the Financial Conduct Authority, he displayed even more unprofessional and unethical behavior. Rather than attempting to resolve the issue, he belittled and threatened me, throwing the name Oisin Casserley at me as if he were some kind of gangster and that I should be afraid of him. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for customer service and basic human decency.
When I contacted Joseph Chadd, the Managing Director of Prestige Cars Kent, via email, I received no reply whatsoever. This demonstrates a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction and highlights the complete absence of any sort of meaningful customer support from this dealership.
Finally, after countless failed attempts to resolve the issue, I requested a deposit refund from Harry Foster, the Business Manager. While he expressed a desire to resolve the situation, I simply don't trust that he will actually follow through on his promise.
As a supposed "goodwill gesture," the customer service department contacted me and offered me three years of warranty on the vehicle for free, but only if I paid the new price of £37,775. This is a blatant attempt to insult my intelligence, as the initial price breakdown indicated that a year's warranty was priced at £833.33. Three years of warranty should cost around £2,499.99, which would bring the grand total to £35,301.99.
Their overall lack of customer service is abysmal, and their willingness to engage in unethical and exploitative business practices for their own financial gain is simply disgraceful. I cannot in good conscience recommend this dealership to anyone. If you are considering doing business with Prestige Cars Kent, I implore you to stay far, far away.”
“Having unfortunately purchased this car from Prestige Cars Kent in October 2020, the cars been nothing but bad news. The company sold me an illegal vehicle with a multitude of faults that were conveniently overlooked on the fresh MOT that was put on the car just before I had it delivered.
The EML came on the evening after I had it delivered, which ultimately opened a huge can of worms with the car and the issues it has. Sold with a tampered DPF, Signs of heavy crash repair to the whole left hand side, electrical faults, a leaky gearbox and much more!
I’m now X months deep into an investigation case in order for me to reject this car, to which I have been passed around, ignored and given open ended promises from Prestige Cars Kent. After basically 10 months of ‘ownership’ I think this cars been stationary in a garage more times than I’ve actually driven it.
Taking time out of work in order to take calls, chase for evidence and contact each party. I’m now with the Financial Ombudsman, Finance Escalations Team and going to the press within a matter of days.
They are not taking liability for this absolute death trap of a vehicle, nor are the accepting the rejection because a bolt that they were responsible for replacing ‘is not the same bolt’ anymore (somehow?) even though the vehicle has been sat at their premises for 4 weeks under an “investigation”
To anyone out there that has seen a vehicle advertised by Prestige Cars Kent, I would highly recommend that you do your homework, investigate the car yourself, don’t trust the ‘fresh MOT’ and look deeply into what’s included in the 100+ point checks prior to sale as I have had months of headaches, sleepless nights and stress due to this company.
They sold me an illegal vehicle, a dangerous vehicle and have been faulted on their repair work in the past by a Bosche approved garage for the incapability to securely fit a CV Boot Clip.
I could’ve been fined £1000, I’ve broken down on multiple occasions (some of which on a dangerous road) and the car kicks up more error codes than I can count.
My experience has been nothing but stressful. My advice to anyone that sees this post is to avoid purchasing a vehicle from Prestige Cars Kent.”
