“Having just returned from a two week cruise on sky princess I felt compelled to tell of our experience. Firstly less than three days prior to departure we were informed that we would not be visiting Italy at all. We attended an interview with the captain who's explanation was that the bars and restraints will be closed so the captain took it upon himself to change the itinerary. Not pleased to learn that other cruise ships visited Italy during this time.
Our designated restaurant whilst very plush, and the staff were great the food and choices were very average. To say that we returned at least two meals is nothing less that the truth. Our waiter was very embarrassed and told us we were not the only ones to return meals. ( we were second sitting 8pm. Also the dress code was not adhered to at all, and we were shocked to see four young people wearing t shirts and one of the group sat throughout the whole meal wearing a baseball cap, again almost every night a man was admitted wearing shorts, even on formal nights.
Wi fi on the ship is shocking to say the least.to expect people to pay £ 106.00 for two weeks is outrageous, when we asked at the front desk we were told only one tablet or phone per cabin. Why then charge both people in the cabin £106.00 each ?.
Sky princess is a beautiful ship and on the whole the staff were extremely helpful . As it was our first cruise with princess we were led to believe they were the best, sorry to disappoint but not in our opinion. Very average cruise line.”
“Prior the vacation, web site disaster, two hours getting onto the boat herded like cattle, on board the medallion thing is hopeless, food is average. Best/worst of all is, paper cups, melamine plates, boat was clean & the staff were great. NEVER NEVER AGAIN”
“Thinking of just talking about a holiday we find we are booked on a cruise on Regal Princess for 7 nights helped by the amazing Rebecca who is a lovely young lady who knows her job. She is so helpful and friendly that we had no doubt as to booking. She made sure we knew everything relevant to our holiday. We are so looking forward to it so roll on 2021”
