We are sorry to hear about your puppy's fear of people. Sadly, some breeds are very vulnerable to anxiety, nerves and specific fear of people. It's a terrible attribute with the disposition often being passed from generation to generation. Our breeders are certified and constantly assessed to ensure that they are providing a loving, healthy environment for their puppies, but regretfully that does not obviate the possibility of a puppy entering the world afraid. But that fact does not make dealing with it any easier. The good news is that because this is such a common condition there is a plethora of online research and recommendations to help you socialize your puppy. We encourage you to take a look and apply some of the socialization techniques other dog owners are suggesting. Another option would be to find a professional dog trainer who specializes in working with fearful puppies and dogs. Let us know if you need a recommendation.
