“My recent visits to this cafe have been quite disappointing due to the consistently poor customer service. While the food (e.g., the chicken, chips, salad, and apple pie) was good, the experience was significantly let down by the attitude of one of the staff members.
On three separate occasions, I was served by the same waitress who was indifferent and unwelcoming. There were no smiles or any attempt at professional engagement. When I finished my meal and offered to help by taking the plates to the counter, I was told in a brash manner to "Just leave it there!"
Additionally, when I went to pay, the card machine was reportedly not working, and I was told to pay in cash. This, combined with the overall lack of professional courtesy, made for a very uncomfortable experience.
It's a shame, as the food itself is enjoyable, but the service needs serious improvement. As a result, I will not be returning.”
