“self published before with another company. book got uploaded to amazon & thats it. no support after. queensland book publishers actually helped me with marketing strategy AFTER launch. suggested partnerships with local bookshops. got me into a few community events. calculated what my actual royalties should be (previous company had me thinking different numbers). its not just about publishing its about building an actual author career. massive difference”

“Spent half me life thinking I had nothing worth saying. Wife reckoned I should write down some of the stories. Contacted these blokes thinking it'd be a rip off. Prices were fair. Process was simple. Book looks absolutely professional. Better than I imagined. Mates have ordered copies. Been in the local paper. Fair dinkum, best thing I've done in years. Wish I'd done it sooner.”

“my disability memoir almost got lost between 2 drafts. project manager found the file, recovered everything, didnt charge extra or make a big deal. just fixed it quietly. thats the kind of outfit they are. the marketing team also understood that disability representation matters & helped me reach the right audience. not just any disabled person but people who actually needed this specific book. book sold out first run within 6 weeks. they get it”
