Despite paying many hundreds of pounds with them, there incentives to stay loyal are meagre. Earlier this year, after 18 months custom, I asked to commit to one full year. The offered discount was 10% if I paid up in full in advance. I saved money in the end by moving facility.
Don't forget either that their fees are not PCM, per month, but per 28 days/four weeks. There are 13 inviolable periods per annum. It all adds up.
Other similar businesses in the area, as I discovered, are biting people's hands off for storage business. The guys here are complacent and just don't want long term customers. Store elsewhere and find a business who wants you custom and not just your cash.”
