“WARNING: Avoid Regtransfers at All Costs!
Unfortunately, I didn't receive the same experience with selling my cherished number plate that was on retention as it was an unmitigated disaster.
Firstly, the process dragged on for far too long, nearly a month fromstart to finish. They initially attempted to drop my selling price – a move that set the tone for the rest of the debacle.
The real blow came when the buyer received the plate and had it attached to their vehicle many days before I saw my payment. Despite the supposedly "electronic" transaction, which I was assured would be seamless, the payment took an eternity to arrive - three days to be exact from when they supposedly had actioned it. Multiple follow-ups with the customer service team who I must add were polite and prompt with answering the call. Trevor yielded empty promises rather than tangible results.
When I voiced my concerns about the delays and mishandling, I was met with a dismissive tone and a glaring lack of concern. It seemed Regtransfers had zero interest in resolving my issues or delivering a satisfactory experience.
In short, Regtransfers' customer service is woefully inadequate, and their processes are clunky and inefficient. If you value your time and sanity, maybe avoid them. I'll never use their services again and would caution others to do the same. Look elsewhere for a smooth and hassle-free transaction.
