I like riftgate because they are quick with online orders and have a pretty decent selection of MTG cards. The only thing I don't really care for are the employees. Never once have I been in and felt welcomed. They almost seem annoyed when I say I have an online order, none of them are welcoming at all.

This is the first monthly type thing I've ever done. I saw a few of the past sets and was really excited about joining. The first set I received were okay. Not really my style, or something I would've bought myself. I really liked the sticker it came with and immediately put it on a work mug. The little miniature was okay as well. Nothing I was to impressed with honestly. None of this is bad by the way. Each month is different and I happened to join on a month that wasn't necessary for me. I really wish I could've got the poker chip ones however! My only complaint is, I ordered at the beginning of September, received Oct already and the next time they pull my money and I get a set is Nov. In 3 months I will have received only 2 and I was kind of hoping I would've got September since I ordered so early.

Hi Dane - thanks for the feedback. The reason for the initial delay is so we can calibrate on how many sets we need, since it takes a few weeks of prep time to print the minis and stickers and get the dice in. The products are always great. I was able to find everything I needed which was awesome. However every time I go into that store. The workers are not friendly and don’t make me feel welcomed. It’s the closest shop to where I live so the convenience is wonderful. But I’d rather drive a little further away to feel more welcomed and have a better customer experience.

Great store with tons of games, tables, and a fairly friendly vibe. Unfortunately, in the last few weeks the interactions with the gentleman (long hair and beard) who staffs the front desk and register have not been great. He is very dismissive, abrupt, and not friendly at all. He makes you feel like a bother for even walking up and asking a question. I think it may be he's overwhelmed fulfilling orders, because he spent the entire time grabbing stuff and boxing orders to ship. He should still try to make you feel welcome, be as engaged as possible, and friendly instead of grumpy and ignoring customers. It honestly makes me not want to come back because it seems like a great local store! I rated 3 instead of 5 because of multiple interactions in the last few weeks.

This was the first LGS I came to when I moved to SLC, the staff were super nice, the atmosphere amazing- and I’ve sold some very high profile MTG cards to this shop. I’ve been really discouraged about coming in the last couple times, where the man at the front desk treated me like a bother, and was just not friendly, to add in, it seems like recently it has been hard for whomever is supposed to be at the front desk, to be at the front desk or in the store whatsoever for customers to be able to check out. I’d love to keep coming back, I’ve given good pieces of my collection to this store to sell for a significant amount more than what I sold them for, and to be treated like that when I’m recognized was really disappointing
