“⭐ 1 Star — Expensive Swimsuits With Horrible Quality and Sizing
I have ordered from RuffleButts five times, and the quality has decreased with every order. These swimsuits are expensive, so customers should be able to expect quality and consistent sizing that match the price. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
I intentionally purchase neon swimsuits because the bright colors make it easier to quickly locate my children at the pool or beach. In the attached photos, the boys’ bottoms show how bright and vibrant these swimsuits originally were. However, after only two wears, both the boys’ rash guard and the girls’ swimsuits have faded dramatically. They now look pale and washed out compared to the boys’ bottoms. That amount of fading after only two wears is completely unacceptable.
The sizing is just as disappointing. As shown in the photos, a girls’ size 14 swim top is the EXACT same width as a boys’ size 5 rash guard. The girls’ size 12 bottoms are also smaller in width than the boys’ size 5 bottoms. How can clothing labeled for a size 14 girl be the same width as clothing made for a size 5 boy? The sizing is extremely poor and inconsistent.
After ordering five times and watching the quality continue to decline, I can no longer recommend RuffleButts. The colors fade almost immediately, the sizing makes absolutely no sense, and the quality does not come close to matching the high price.”
“Don’t waste your money. Think quality has really gone down over the years. Just got this color block swimsuit in June as a gift for my daughter, she wore it to the beach once and the sand will not come out. No other suit of hers or anyone else’s on the trip had this issue, including an older ruffle butts one. Emailed customer service and they recommended I soak in cold water, so I did that and the sand will not come out and now the neon colors have faded so much, it looks 10 years old. Funny enough the target and H&M swimsuits that are less than half the price didn’t get sand inside their linings. Don’t waste $40+ on this swimsuit”
“Cute designs but the color faded really quickly and the material stretched out very easily and became unusable. Very disappointed in the suit only lasting 6 months when I have cheap suits for my kids that have lasted years.”
“The box variety was so good! It was more fall/winter stuff, so had I known that, I would've gotten a larger size. However, it was a great variety of quality clothes with the CUTEST swim shorts. I'll definitely be getting a mystery box again!”
“Not happy with the customer service agent I was communicating with. Do not purchase through their website. If you do purchase an item here, go through Amazon or a different outside source. Ruffle butts requires you to pay for return shipment and to print label etc.”
