I just finished Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention. Overall a good course. Some of the items in the Legislation tab are out of date and not accessible. Also, I was somewhat confused by Chapter 6, pages 6&7. It states that "Violent incidents may happen unexpectedly. As a bystander, it's important to know how to respond to them" and then lists 15 steps in responding to a violent incident, as a bystander. My issue with this chapter/pages is the steps listed don't seem to line up with what a bystander should be responsible for. For example - will a bystander really be responsible to "Coordinate professional counseling for victims" or to "Notify family members of victims" or "Prepare insurance and legal documents". It seems that this list should be what a manager or supervisor does, not a bystander.
