Hi, You may want to check out our advice on the website under the customer care section. As you can see from so many other reviews the majority of people will get on average 16hrs of good scent throw. It is likely you are using either an eight hour T light, to small of a burner or too high wattage electric warmer. The smell of wax you are describing is typical from Soy wax which we do not use. The wax we use is odourless.

“These wax melts are absolutely brilliant The scents lasts all day and night I've had a lot of wax melts but these blow them all out of the water they are the best Also tbe way there packed and wrapped is pure class...prices are really good too I would totally recommend these to everyone”
