“My husband gave this yo me after I commented how nice it looked in s picture at Gleneagles, I was thrilled, until I put it on. The fabric is odd, it’s too boxy, and the collar is too high and digs in under the chin even when it’s undone . It was intended for shooting but the arm holes are too small and restricts movement, I have other schoffel gilets and they fit so much better, needs a serious rethink and as he bought it direct we have to pay to return it !! Will never buy direct again v v poor.”

“Excellent jacket, initially I thought it would not be warm enough as I was looking to replace my very warm winter Schoffel jacket. But after wearing it in the recent cold and wet London weather, the Ptarmigan Pro coat was warm enough over a suit and also was very good at keeping the rain out, without being excessively bulky.”

“Expensive item, Schoffel charged for postage and then I had to pay to return gilet at a cost of £8. The 22 size ordered would not have fitted a size 12. Disappointed in what I thought was a quality company.”

“This fleece is a very small size. I ordered a size up from my usual size to fit a jumper underneath but it was still very tight. I haven't put weight on and all other purchases recently from other suppliers have been fine. Can't be bothered sending it back.”

“Bought online & delivery was amazingly quick, beautifully packaged. Unfortunately the coat I purchased was unsuitable purely because the hood was enormous & when up it completely fell over my face even when i had tightened all cords etc. I would have kept the coat had the hood not been so large as it was a beautiful warm coat”

“I have for years had several Schoffel products. I like them very much. Online I ordered a fleece in your biggest size, 54. When it arrived it transpired that the new garment was 17 cm less in circumference than the older one. On the telephone you have confirmed that you have indeed shrunk the sizes. I find this strange. Also,why stop at size 54? It would take a lot for me to buy from you again.”
