“The inside leg of the Plus Fours is ridiculously long and needs to be the same as the Plus two's (4 inches shorter) Plus two's are only available in 'Goretex' lined but are too hot for most of the season...”

Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you were unable to find a fit in the shooting trousers that was suitable for yourself. Our Plus Twos and Fours do have to be produced for an average length and this may be where the sizing does not suit everyone. As for the GoreTex, we do offer our Moleskin Breeks which are non lined for warmer temperatures. Thanks,

“Item returned as not the right size. Asked for a replacement but had an email quite curt I thought saying you had no stock and refund done instead I have now bought it from another supplier”

“I have bought Schöffel fleeces for years, mainly Oakhams in different colours and a Cottesmore - and they last for years, the time came to get another, and by now neater Cottesmore. I ordered a UK48 on line. When it arrived it was way too small. The label said 48, the inch tape read 44. I went to a stockist and their sizings were air smaller than the labels. Even the 50 was too tight. New manufacturing company? Poor quality control?. Returned and money refunded but you lost a sale and probably a returning customer. Went to Dubarry - perfect fit. Would have been one star except for the speedy refund.”

“The situation is that I would rate Schoffel 4.5 * for service and order processing. However, the range of colours and sizes for fleece gilets and jackets has been depleted for many months now.. It appears you are down to just blue and green which is really disappointing so only 2* overall..”

“This is a beautiful shirt and I really liked it, but unfortunately it shrunk in its first wash and is no longer wearable. A shame as I expected better quality for the cost.”

“The Gilet I ordered was okay but to long, but I guess these sizes are standard fit, the chest size is correct but the length was far to long and when worn under a standard jacket it was over two inches longer”

“asked for a review of schoffel; not the product. Product (a cap) perfectly fine. Website however is rubbish. jeans for men listed in a random order of sizes, quite bizarre in fact. women's are worse as no length is listed at all! a joke.”

“Really disappointed with the quality of the womans Ashley Tattersall shirt. Thin fabric and flimsy quality, and not what I would expect from Schoffel. The men's shirts are far better quality, better material. Disappointing is all I can say in this instance.”

“I have a Schoffel ski jacket that is excellent. This is the first time I have bought Schoffel shirts. I wear a 16.5 and that is the size I ordered. The neck is fine but everything else is tight from the forearms, under the armpit to the chest and waist. The sleeves could be an inch longer. The quaility is what I expected. I am not obese - the shirt is simply made for a very, very slim person!”

“My fleece was a big disappointment on my previous Schoffel fleece that I still use and am very pleased with. Hence we returned it and bought a Helle Hensen fleece instead which I am absolutely delighted with”

“Sorry we sent the ptarmigan pro II back because it looked like my cheap farmers coat that i garden in! It was very plasticky and just seemed to lack the style of a £599 coat. The sizing was all wrong, we purchased a 42 and it was too small. The good news was that we sent it back and received a quick refund. On the strength of the size being wrong my husband ordered another style Schoffel shooting coat in a 44 from another company - it was vast. That coat was returned and a cheaper version was purchased in a size 42, that was a good fit ( it was however larger than the expensive coat in a size 42) what can i say...thank you for the prompt return of my money.”
