I have since sown some of the seeds, which sprouted pretty swiftly. Like many - but clearly not enough of us - I am alarmed at the fall in insect numbers. I am striving to do whatever I can to stop this. Now, if only there was some way to stop my neighbours 'tidying' the environment by killing verges which dont even belong to them, weedspraying their whole gardens and replacing lawns with astro turf and worst still, replacing plants with plastic plants!”
