“I've planted Vipers Bugloss seeds in various spots around the garden. The first time I saw this plant was on Salisbury Plain (mostly chalk) and being used as a border around a crop field (dry and stony). At both sites, it was thriving and was a magnet for pollinators including bees, hummingbird hawkmoth and butterflies. So I've planted some in stony soil, some in a pot with a honeysuckle and ordinary garden soil, and some in a bed with peat free compost/soil mixture. Many seeds at all sites have germinated but, the largest seedlings are in stony soil and are south facing. The others are a little bit behind but are in a north facing position.”
“I have planted Seed Revolution vegetable seeds this year for the first time which have germinated very successfully. I have attached a few photographs of the seedlings basking happily in the warmth of my greenhouse 10 days after the seeds were planted. I also have Seed Revolution broad beans, peas and squash in the ground which I hope will germinate equally well. Indeed the peas are already appearing above ground!
