They had cracked down the sides & come away from sole I knew of selects policy of no refunds, a government website on UK retail shoe law says is the customers legal right to have a refund on items that are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, which is why i was hesitant to go back to the store, but i ended up at end of May going into the Barnsley store with my boots & receipt, the person in charge that day was of course not a manager, she told me that i was heavy footed & that's why they broke, the manager will look at them when she comes in tomorrow if you leave them here with receipt.

NOBODY MENTIONED TO ME I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET A REFUND! IS THAT EVEN LEGAL? I was told in the store, upon returning unwanted clothes (and after the money was taken from my account) that the policy is described on the receipt! As a consumer I have a right to know that I won't be able to get my monies back BEFORE I PAY! Not after I've paid.

Bought a pair of pull on stretch ponte trousers wore once (to a funeral) stitching came apart down the front of both legs returned to shop with recieipt was told had to be returned to head office manager took my email address and co tact number told me I sould hear within 7 days nothing heard 2 weeks later returned to store to be told no refund because I bent down with the trousers on I have slim legs so couldnt see why this was a problem I asked the lady in the store why hadnt I been contacted for her to reply its nothing to do with me I dont keep your contact details (rather rudely) as I am a stranger to her I asked for head office details and I cant contact customer services when I asked could I have the trousers back was told she didnt have them they were in the post? Had no option but to accept credit note for faulty product as select had my money the faulty product and my receipt disgusting customer service.

Ordered jumper received cardigan returned at my own expense been 11 days no reply to emails no refund and 37 attempts to get through on telephone and thats just today constantly busy tone AVIOD

Ordered some shoes for express delivery took 4 days to arrive. Returned shoes only got a refund for shoes and no delivery costs. Saying they don’t refund original delivery costs. Consumer Regulations say must refund at least the basic delivery cost. Wonder how many people they con out of this!

Bought a pair of work trousers for my daughter. They were loose as sized up for comfort. Wore fur one shift and the brown elastane was all over them on black trousers near seams, looked terrible, astounded when they point blank instore and online refused to refund or even replace as trying to insist not faulty! Disgraceful customer service and I will NEVER buy from them again

Terrible service. Fitting rooms not available to try on so purchased and took home to try on. Unfortunately size no good so return items. Smaller size not available so asked for refund only to be told had to take a credit note ! Wouldn't even give me information of how to make a complaint. Dont want a credit note for £45 as dont want to shop with them again !

I ordered 5 items, 3 items went back in perfect condition. I was told by numerous customer services I was not entitled to a refund as the items were not damaged. Definitely avoid this online shop, you won't get any monies back. Worst customer service since lockdown I've ever known. Hopefully you won't be opening back up in our area

It’s actually disgusting how awful this company is! Complete thieves! Hermes delivered to the wrong address. We’ve searched everywhere in our locality. Hermes said they left it in an “outbuilding” we live in a mid terrace NEW BUILD with NO OUTBUILDING! Basically called me a liar by Tracey in Customer Service/head office. Practically impossible to get a refund. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Thieving, rude and vile!
