“Servicing stop has endangered the lives Of my family. First of all this company is a scam. They pay significant amount of money to Google for their company to be displayed in Google search front page.
I paid £125.00 for a full service and MOT for my wife’s VW Polo 2012. Which was too good to be true. Anyways I took the gamble and I paid bitterly for it. This same car was serviced by the main dealer VW last year for over £600.00 including other jobs. I will be providing the report in due course. Jobs included was air conditioning repair, re-gas and their was no mention of an oil leak.
Servicing stop collected my car with almost half tank of petrol and returned with an empty tank. They later asked me to pay about £287.00 more which brought the total to over £400.00. Report will be provided in due course. I was so angry with myself to fall for a scam like this. I reluctantly paid that money in 4 days.
There are more problems with the car now before it was handed over to servicing stop. The only problem the car had was a faulty headlight bulb. I don’t know what they have done to the car but the air condition repaired and re-gas by VW is no longer working. Their is an oil leak in the engine which wasn’t there before the car was handed over to servicing stop and not mentioned by VW when the car was last serviced.
My wife said to me the car doesn’t feel right when she was driving and it was also a very hot day. We turned on the aircon and it was just blowing out hot air. Opened the bonnet and their was oil all over the engine. I have contacted a local garage who advised for the car not to be driven until a thorough inspection has been carried out.
Why would you charge all that money and behave in this manner. Jeopardising the lives of others. The only answer I can come up with is these guys are thieves plain and simple. Thieves have no emotions or empathy whatsoever with no ethical principles to abide to.
My impression is the car was not even serviced. Instead, they ripped parts off the car. I have instructed the garage to check the report provided by Servicing stop and use it to compare reports of there inspection.
I will be updating this review in due course. I will also be contacting the relevant department to raise a safety concern.”

Most unreliable service I've ever seen. Booked my MOT for last week with collection. They called me to rebook it for another day, I agreed. Next time they didn't even call me at all, just not turn up. Then rebooked after I called... Next week they took my car and made me an unrealistic qoute for £1000! I asked others in the area and they quoted me half of it with urgent service.
I asked them to bring my car back (still had to pay for their "service") and they declined, just told that they will bring it back at the end of the day. Without any reason.
Last year they also quoted me 3 times then the normal price and didn't get my car back even on the same day. I had to call the police and only get my car back another day. Without my permission or even call me to explain.
To get the details of the garage and the supervisory body's contact details took me hours! The customer service is just a parrot, repeats the same sentences, never answer to my questions.”
“Booked with this company 2 months ago.
Phoned garage day before to check time of pick up.They knew nothing about me.
Phoned company and they said this would be sorted.This was at 10am,by 4 still no joy.
So I asked for a full refund and they said I could re book or have £25 cancellation fee.
What you had the booking for 2 months and failed,needed MOT now as I going away.
After much hazel they agreed to fully refund,not got it yet?
Do not touch this company even the garage said it was a nightmare to work with .
My own garage sorted me out for less as well with full service.”
“Doggy as hell! had not issues with my car. Put in for a mot, and they've made me pay £600, but I was quoted £100. After multiple phone calls saying my car needs adding repairs. I visited the garage and they stated, "the paying company add on additional prices", but they claimed to me it was from the garage. Either both have coned me or one party has.”
“Beware of the fake low cost quotes as you will be more than likely pay double that amount . Also no transparency whatsoever as no relevant pictures or proof that the works have actually been completed as their alleged online report is a joke and they only concentrate on ripping you off with all sorts of extra charges .”
“Do not use! Had my car in for an mot and service at the beginning of March. Spent nearly £500 to get it through it all. Only to be informed AFTER all the work had been done, that the garage had noticed that my coolant was low and the car may actually be on the verge of dying. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have spent the money fixing the other problems on the car. Especially as the head gasket blew 4 days later. Servicing Stop were very hesitant to accept any responsibilty over the issue and I received mixed messages over whether the garage knew about the issue or not, it was only when I pointed out that they had sent me contradictory emails (I refused to discuss this over the phone with them due to contradicting information being given out all the time) I will not be using them again.”
