“The Last Quarter of the Moon was showcased in such glowing terms on Instagram that I had to buy it. The ordering process was simple and the book arrived swiftly, and in perfect condition, having been well packaged. The book itself was a masterpiece in my opinion and so I was very glad to have seen the post and taken a chance on an unfamiliar author. It's wonderful to be able to support an independent book shop and I'd recommend Sherlock and Pages to anyone. I just wish I lived near to the physical shop as it looks beautiful.”

“This is a gem of a bookshop. Not alone do they stock a beautifully curated selection of books, they also have lovely gift ideas [the Long live the hedgerows tote bag for example] and as their tag line, are up for mischief. Who could resist that? I ordered on line as I do not live near beautiful Froome and my books arrived undamaged.....no slightly bent corners.... and quickly. I live in the EU and the package had to go through a customs assessment too. My tote bag gets lots of compliments and with it's box bottom, holds a surprising ammount. If you are on instrgram, they have a lovely presence there and well worth a follow. They are worth supporting in however you can and if you live or are in the area, a visit should be on your to do list.”

“This is a charming and beautiful shop. It is small and it is clear great care has been taken to provide an interesting and intelligent choice of titles. I have followed their story on Instagram for some months and went many miles out of my way to visit. I had no regrets. Supporting a young business trying to spread words of hope and beauty amongst the chaos all around us seems like a wise and soothing choice. I urge you to try it too. If you are lucky enough to go in person you will have expert advice to hand and once done copious good coffee options within a stone’s throw.”

“Everything about this bookstore is attractive to me: the people who run it & their philosophy, the physical appearance of the space itself (that I see on Instagram) and, of course, the wonderful inventory of books, many of which I did not even know about until I shopped there online. The hedgerows of my English childhood, now so long ago, are calling to me again thanks to this wonderful little shop.”

“Sherlock & Pages offers books at very competitive prices. Each order is carefully packed and quickly dispatched. Average wait time to US is about a week. I have been very happy with the products and service provided by this shop. They also offer bonus material for certain popular books, such as interviews with authors, videos of locations associated with the book, and podcasts on related topics. Very well done, Sherlock & Pages.”

“The most dreamy little bookshop I’ve never been to. I love Frome. My nephew lives there and I’ve strolled the beautiful streets in the past. I live in Florida and have for many years so when I saw that @englishpilgrim whom I follow on Instagram had opened this beautiful little shop, I had to explore. I’ve ordered some lovely books and merchandise and it’s super easy and ships right away. Great addition to my favorites from home.”
