“I ordered a few books online from Sherlock and Pages and they arrived super fast. And when I was finally able to visit the shop in person it was just magical. Absolutely what you'd want a book shop to be: well-curated, full of interesting and intriguing books, and the lovely human behind the desk was generous and kind and just as charming as the shop. Whenever I'm in Frome I call in. It's a magical place.”

“Cannot praise this little independent book shop - and the team behind it - high enough. It is a total gem - packed with the best writing on nature, conservation, history and a whole lot more besides. Aesthetically, a joy to spend time browsing its shelves. My ‘go to’ bookshop in the wonderful, independent town of Frome.”

“Sherlock and Pages has been such a delite to discover. The fascinating history and nature books have my TBR pile growing and growing. Their attention to book club books, especially the interviews and visits relating to them, has been marvelous. I highly recommend this bookstore. I hope one day to visit in person!”

“I fell in love with this little shop about a year ago and I have ordered bundles of books. Their collection is amazing, but the thing that keeps me paying international shipping fees is their community building. I even traveled to Frome in person to see the shop and meet Luke (who gave us the best recommendations for all things Cornish). I’m a life time fan 📚♥️”

“I bought from Sherlock and Pages because for the two minute 'extra bother' it took not buying from that well known online large company, I know I am helping to support an independant book store that helps give its local community uniqueness, character and a thriving community. Clearly buying one book wont achieve all that but if we all chipped in a bit it does!”

“I have ordered twice from Sherlock & Pages, and each time the books arrived very speedily and were very well packed. I like the fact that the staff at Sherlock & Pages have such a wide yet well thought out selection of books in specific areas of interest - the work is done for prospective readers. There are so many tempting titles, and I am currently about to place a third order. We are also kept well informed on social media which I know must take time to prepare and post. Thank you, Sherlock & Pages, and all the best in your endevours! P.S. I love my hedgerow tote bag! P.P.S. My delivery (between 5 and 7 days) took longer as live outside the UK.”

“I love the choices of books available in this shop. Including everything from fiction, nature, history, biographies and poetry. I live in the USA, and am more than willing to pay the extra shipping costs to support such a fine independent bookstore. I only wish there was a store like this where I live.”
