“Dear Gentlemen, Thank you for the opportunity to write about your marvellous youtube program and for my beautiful socks! My outfit on this occasion was very much fashioned by GG, making GG a practical and valued source of education, creativity and confidence in style: Bespoke royal blue plaid, single-breasted, 2-button suit from Lord’s Tailor of Kuala Lumpur, in Giorgio Vallino 110’s Necessity fabric. The jacket follows points learned from GG, including medium, notched lapels, surgeon’s cuffs and side-vents. Shoulders have less padding. Dark bone buttons. Flat-front trousers with no break, but a spare, more classic pair with higher waist, adjusters, fuller cut, slight break and turn-ups. Midnight and Burgundy shadow stripes. Black monkstraps by Loake for the occasion. Especially influenced by GG - silk necktie with fine geometric pattern in subdued blue, grey and burgundy and Como Sera silk pocket square with larger paisley in similar colours plus pale blue and off-white. White shirt with moderately spread “Zegna” collar. Anyway, GG is great fun, and thank you for the introduction, education and means to elegant, dapper silhouettes and a world of colour. Here in Kuala Lumpur, there are some climate (and hydrosis) challenges, but there are opportunities to adopt a classic style to some degree, and jettison some casual habits, whenever out.”

“When it comes to socks, 2 things matter: material used and fit. For material- it needs to be 100% natural material, and zero synthetic. Gentlemen’s gazette socks are 100% high quality cotton. Most competitors I researched half a synthetic blend mix, and those are not comfortable, and your foot will sweat. When it comes to fit for dress socks- you must try over the calf. All the shorter socks will creep down and look horrible. Over the calf socks stay up, and no adjustments are needed. The socks will come in large, but after 1 wash, fit perfect. Can’t say enough good things about these socks. Finally found a brand I love.”

Fort Belvedere is proud to source only the finest Egyptian cotton, with an emphasis on long-staple fibers that ensure the greatest possible durability, comfort, and pill resistance. While a quality pair of mid-calf dress socks will still do a fairly good job of staying up, an over the calf sock will always do a better job of staying up largely due to it's length; by resting below the knee, the calf acts as an anchor to prevent the sock from falling down. All of our socks are designed to shrink to fit once they are washed and dried. We offer our socks in wide range of options - they do come in different colors and unique styles. “This was my first pair of unlined gloves and value investing in the peccary. They truly are lighter in weight and with time the leather hugs your fingers, becoming fitter for your unique size. I received numerous compliments with these gloves out and about. I can say there's a noble energy wearing these; bringing an element of traditional regal bearing to modern times. They're versatile enough to be worn with formal, semi-formal and casual attire. The green is almost like an alligator's dark hue, subtle. The tone shifts depending on how the sunlight hits, and I notice the textured details when making a fist, picking up a bag or flipping book pages. Highly recommended addition to your collection.”
