I am usually pretty diligent but they got me hook, line and sinker. I did a search and the engine trust makes out its independent company giving you independent quotes from different garages by a number of written quotes and you make the selection. Once you do that you contact the number on the quote and are given a reference. They charge you to pick up car, once they have it you are then asked to pay a third party Sian for the engine replacement, even though I never authorised them to give it to them. I paid £1,080 and then you get a report that they have stripped the engine and the written quote you had goes up by 100% but then you receive 3 quotes, if you choose the re-conditioned engine they then demand 50% up-front and if you do not take their recommended quote which is much higher you will not get a warranty for the work. The items listed on the invoice had sundries as an item, which immediately got my attention. It would have been nice to receive the terms and conditions they keep mentioning but we never did. Do not get involved with the above companies as they do what they want and then you have to pay to get your car back but in pieces and no doubt there will be bits missing, reading the below. They do what they want, you lose money you get a car back in pieces. Great service - NOT!

I have a very rare Bmw m4 which was able to get fixed for me by Sian Autos which was quoted from the dealer at £20k. I was able to pay jus over half that for the complete engine job. I am so thankful as their expertise saved me alot of money, will defo use again.

Fair price quoted, I knew my car needed a lot of work done. Was cheaper than elsewhere. They fixed my car and communicated with me the whole way. No issues at all

Scammers please and please dnt ever take your car to these liars they change their prices when they start working on your car and they dnt explain anything about the warrant and they did not do a good job to my car. I will never ever refer anyone to them. They passed my car MOT. When they have put a wrong tyre on and i noticed that when they delivered the car to me this made me scared and not to trust them at all 5 months after the repair my car had the whole engine oil leaked due to the bolt that they put that went loose phoned them to let them know they started saying i missed a service. Which they never told me about i was only told of one service that i did not the second one they claimed i missed but never mind they shall look for me to bring back my money they took and not did any good work now the car is not driving again

Business built on lies it’s purely a scam outfit. How these are legally get away with this is beyond me. I got suckered in as I thought I was dealing with reconengines what are just a front for Sian. Where to start after they stripped my engine down I was told I needed virtually everything replaced even the brand new oil pump just fitted by citeron . This is what made me question them . Yep had two quotes one for 3k and 4k pay half in 3 days or get storage charges. No way got my car back in worse condition than when it went in. Don’t know how they sleep at night con men the lot of them. All I can say is I will bide my time and watch this space Daniel, Charlie james I will be taking matters to trading standards To anyone thinking of using my answer would be RUN THE OTHER WAY they even manages to kill my battery car was drivable when it went in 🤬🖕🏻

Awful, shocking, if you read reviews and want to take any notice.. just move on to another engine rebuild company… as soon as they have your car the service just goes from awful to horrendous… as one consumer to another just please take your business elsewhere. Take a bad experience and make it better… by hopefully putting this one out of business.

Modern day thieves at the best. Avoid at all costs they will rip you off They also give the car back with parts missing. My brand new oil pump which they said was scored inside was not given back. They said they see the damage when they opened my oil pump. Which is a lie as my oil pump is a sealed unit. They never realised when they gave me a list of lies about my car that I'm a fully qualified car Mechanic since I was 17yrs old. Would of done the work myself if it wasn't for I'll health. They said my cylinder head needs replacement due to damage from the belt breaking. I can confirm that was a lie They said my engine bores are oval again they lied my car would of been drinking a lot of petrol and not running properly before the belt broke. My engine was running perfectly. They said my alternator belt was cracked which I knew again was a lie because I'd recently put a brand new alternator on and checked the belt. I literally have that belt here now and it still looks almost brand new. They said all 3 of my Injectors were seized lol again another lie my car would not of been running so my belt wouldn't of broken. Plus all 3 wouldn't just seize up at the same time. They claimed my sump need replacing due to being fitted wrongly 😂 if that was true I would of had a major oil leak and I had no leak at all. I've also double checked my sump and nothing wrong with it. The list goes on and I could be here all day talking about these CLOWNS I just wish I had not taken my car to a CIRCUS Link of there time on the BBC for scamming customers 👇 https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0c17nk6?fbclid=IwAR1WGQW4DLFEkXPqjfmd4IJEPBbIj1roJHI_2RROkZGupfjll9VdSXu4kf

Avoid at all costs. Rip off merchants lie about works needing to be done. Bumped the price up from £1750 to over £4000

I seem to have too been ripped off by this garage! From a £3500 quote i ended pay just short of £10,000! And my car is still not fixed! If anyone did anything to get their money back please let me know I will be getting some legal advice.

Warranty promises will not be adhered to and excuses given to make sure you will be charged if you return it due to bad workmanship

i dont do many reviews but seeing as a few of these bad reviews got me thinking, its only fair to give this company credit where deserved. They took my car in, price was around 400 quid higher than the estimate of 1700 as my vehicle wasnt in too bad nick, so ill verify that they dont double all bills and it is based on how bad your car actually is

My experience has been very positive with them. I am very happy with the service provided by them. They kept me informed about all the stages with pictures and videos. Thank you for fixing my Range Rover Autobiography. Very professional. Once again thank you very much.

I would give them a 0 star if I could. They will rip you off for absolutely everything - they by their spare parts USED off of EBAY then blame the fault on you. They try to take advantage of all clients and charge thousands. They are liars and unqualified technicians. Each diagnostic day by day changes and the price goes up and up. The attitude is awful, they talk over you. And to top it off, the advisors there don't even have a driving license themselves!!

I previously had my engine rebuilt by A1 Engines and it was a shamble from start to finish. Came to these guys and it was £500 cheaper than the first build and zero issues with the build, very happy now.
