They take 0 accountability and they brush off their failing areas of their inspection reports in safety, medication compliance. Scary they can operate and charge what they charge with poor staff and incompetent medical care.”

“Disheartened by the lack of care given to a family relative staying on the dementia unit. Totally disgusted with the level of food that was being served we decided to take food in ourselves. We saw residents walking around with knifes which was a major concern, when reported this was not taken seriously by Management and dismissed without further safety implications being put in place. On occasions I saw carers being short and lacking encouragement. It would appear there is a lack of dementia training amongst staff. Medication was not always distributed correctly, if at all. She had falls and injuries which were not logged correctly. Some of these falls would have been due to the loss of her glasses and the meds she was on. When management was informed of our concerns we did not always receive a reply or any reassurance that things were being dealt with.”

“What a Disgusting place this so called high end care home is. The recent Abuse of a Dementia Resident reported by the Guardian Newspaper made me feel sick.
The Senior Management should be ashamed of themselves, Signature Senior Lifestyle are a Greedy Money making Organisation. The in-house Management Team should all be sacked, let’s hope CQC make an example of this home.
Watch the surveillance footage taken by the family of this 88 year old vulnerable lady. SHOCKING BEYOND WORDS.

“Would never recommend this home. All looks great on the outside but behind closed doors it's different. Food terrible unsuitable special diets not kept too. Management dreadful only care about the business and looking good not the residents. Medication problems and the most disturbing was when management told the receptionist that we were not allowed to talk to our mum on the phone and not to put us through or talk to us leaving a elderly person with no contact with their loved ones”

Reigate Grange in Surrey from the outside seems a good Home, But far from this when you have put someone into this Home. From problems like not being put onto the Resident Gateway to view what going on for a few Months & not knowing what's going on with a Family Member & given the wrong information, Missing Items never found again, Resident Glasses & Gold Watch going missing, Wrong Meds given when certain Drugs were documented that they were stopped. Meds & also given for the wrong reason. Severe Dehydration and Food that is so dry and no sauce or gravy offered. No consideration on the Residents Pain & past injury's/Operations they may have had or are in, Lack of Moving & Handling Training and general understanding of a Dementia Resident needs & asking them what may be the problems.
Only 1 Alarm Mat placed when the person can get out the other side of the bed & take a fall. Pushed around in a Wheel Chair with cold Feet & Legs & nothing on their feet & no offering of Chiropodist.
Moving the Bed in a position to block the TV screen & Turning the TV up so load it hurts the Residents Ears.'
After seeing a Dementia Resident carrying Knifes about & some were Serrated to then be told by Senior Management that they are their own person & can carry what they want
Lack of response from Management in following up on problems.”
