“I’ve been trying for nearly a year to resolve a significant loss of income and permanent scarring to my face falling a fall caused by Sketchers footwear.
This was ENTIRELY avoidable, Sketches have been NEGLIGENT.
I’ve since found out the safety issues with this footwear had already been flagged to Sketchers on multiple occasions but they continued to sell
them.
When I contacted Sketchers about my injuries which included concussion, I spent months being ignored by them.
It took a visit to one of their local outlet shops, I’d already visited their main store in my town and been turned away, for anyone to listen.
The manger of the outlet shop couldn’t have been more helpful but she was not able to resolve the issue.
She did as much as she was able to which resulted in me being passed to their insurance company - Crawford & Company.
Sketchers clearly do care about their customers as they palmed me off to a company with overwhelmingly negative feedback, which I’ve “copied below”
This has also been my experience of this insurance company/loss adjuster.
I’ve gone back to Sketchers who’ve refused to help me futher stating that it is now with their insurers/loss adjuster.
The insurers/loss adjusters who are rude, patronising, incompetent and disinterested in resolving damages their being solely on minimising compensation.

“Good quality but since change of ownership I am having problems with sizing. I already have 4 pairs of Skechers so ordered the same size for a couple of new pairs which were both way too big. If you buy from Amazon returns are so simple BUT if you buy online direct from Skechers returns are so difficult, complicated, time consuming and exasperating!
I will avoid in future.”

“Wore my sandals once, to visit a restaurant, and walked about half a mile. When I got home I found a split, by the toes. The local shop, where I bought them refused to do anything, other than refer me to Skechers. I battled with them for nearly 4months, with no result whatsoever. This happened 2 years ago, but they were so obstructive and unhelpful, I don't imagine much has changed. £40 down the grid, and a lot of heartache. Don't deal with this awful company, who take no responsibility for their products.”
