“Had a bad experience with these guys. Please check the reviews and read them thoroughly, I can confirm by my experience that are for real. Short story: I’ve ordered items valued at £374. On their website you’ll see written 7-9days deliver time. Ordered on 5th and is 20th of the month no item has been delivered. They just tell you that is coming. When asked for full refund i slapped with T&C that only 50% of the amount is refund and -£50 admin fee. Scam I’ll attach some photos of nice conversation with their customer service too. Try to avoid or you’ll be waiting for your paid items weeks/months.”

“absolute shower, purchase at your peril 4 weeks and after 6 failed deliveries I'd had enough so cancelled. Steve the sales manager immediately quoted their t&c's which apparently mean they didn't actually have to deliver anything. They took £114.00 in cancellation fees on a £159.00 order quoting "re-stocking" for goods they hadn't made or supplied. Screwfix delivered in 2 days at 2/3rds the price Avoid like the plague”

“Avoid like the plague! Absolute bunch of clowns - promised me every day for over a week that delivery would be the next day. And as for thinking of cancelling order - 50% charge + £35 ‘admin’ fee!! Total charlatans.”

“Countless excuses for late delivery. Including assurance a number if times that consignment was booked for pre 10am next day, only to be told later , advised that courier had no parcels in my name - told sorry order is here! Least of problems- delay in delivery - delay in fitter returning. Oak bullnose 2 rebate bought to match previous order is nothing like previous oak . Definite red colour - perhaps red oak - stands out like a sore thumb against door architrave. No reply to complaints so far”

“Terrible experience...kept calling for update on my order, ever-time have been give different delivery date. Tried resolving with customer support who warned me if cancelled my order (£224), will receive back £70 as that is what their terms and conditions state. End up paying contractors for idle time, as this delivery is delaying my project.”

“Tony, the salesperson who dealt with my order was extremely courteous and had a very good product knowledge. I placed two orders for Oak Manchester 2 skirting boards, the first one during the lockdown last year. Despite the mood prevalent at that time among the skeleton staff, Tony displayed very professional attitude towards the customer. I have no hesitation in recommending Skirtingboardsdirect.com”

“Skirting boards took a long time to arrive. You can see the wood through the primer that I paid extra for (not worth the extra money) and the cut profile in the boards is very rough which shows through after finish painting.”
