The company went into liquidation - didn’t refund people’s money or let them know this was happening. Then advertise they are reopening. Why would anyone want to go back?

I came across this platform by chance. I read all the reviews about this company and hard to believe they are real as they may be, I believe them all, because I experienced pretty much the same thing. If you look for dermatologists out of London, like one hour by train, you'd be surprised how much money you could save. In London you will always pay for their overheads.

Doctor stealing treatments from patients for her own face. I didn’t understood why my Botox of one area I always done in the past always worked until I came to Harley Street SK:N clinic and met the doctor performing the procedure couldn’t move her face muscles because of all the treatments she’ve done. Horrific and I didn’t knew this existed until this happened to me. I’ve done this treatment many times before and I have always seen results usually already within an hour and improving by the end of day or next day. This time, I thought that’s strange, I can’t see any improvements. The treated area is exactly the same. I let wait to the next day. Still nothing. Then it struck me, as soon I entered the room, the doctor asked me one question about what treatment I booked for and I answered. After that she talked uninterruptedly with out giving any indications she’s interested to hear me. She tried to sell me another treatment, which I declined as I wasn’t interested in doing anything than what I’ve done in the past and which I’ve always been happy with. I was asked to lay down on the stretcher. It took only seconds after I laid down for the doctor to push the need in and she was done in less than half a min. I was really surprised and kind of pleased how quick this took, not knowing of what I later would understand was an empty needle and a complete fraud treatment. Looking back at my treatment, I understood that the doctor didn’t draw any substance into the needle and neither me feeling anything sensations, which I always felt in the past. There you go, how would you defend that you wouldn’t got any treatments? Either, SK:N have set up a fraudulent business plan or the doctor is stealing treatments for her own face! I’m sure many went from there thinking, this treatment might not be working for me, maybe I should pay for 2-3 treatments next time. How would a client defend they have received anything. At the end, the client won’t be getting a refund neither their treatment. This company is a fraud and they are there to steal from you. To add another note, this doctor in particular have done so many treatments on her face. The usual expression, rubber face would be too kind to express.

If I could 0* I would!!!! I purchased a full leg laser removal treatment just before Covid started. Wanted to pick up my treatment as I only had 2 out of the course, only for them to say it expired but without providing a signed T&Cs showing that there was a time limit on the treatment plan and taking into account that the clinic was closed for months during lockdown. Totally unprofessional and all they want is your money without any care. Needless to say that I will be taking them to court as £800 is not a small sum of money. They don't come back to you be it a phone call or e-mail. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Please avoid this clinics for tattoo laser removal treatments as this is absolutely SCAM!!! 1. Incorrect laser wavelengths used to treat green and blue ink (785nm not available in the machines they using) 2. On the consultation appointment - the clinician has reviewed that tattoo and advised that 4 sessions will be absolutely enough to mostly remove it (£960 paid on that date). AFTER 2 SESSIONS no progress on removal has been noticed !!! Also advised that after each session I will receive a healing cream products to help out with healing – THIS WAS A FALSE PROMISS!!! No products received after 2nd sessions – advised to use Vaseline instead – absolutely unacceptable 3. NOT FULL TATTOO AREA TREATED AT EACH SESSION !!! – they are trying to rip you off by selling more sessions as there is no progress on tattoo removal. 4. Unprofessional / untrained staff – checking setting book how to set up the machine!!! 5. When officially complained – they are telling you that some tattoo are harder to remove the others!!! NO… you have advised at the consultation that it will take 4 sessions = £960 !!! AVOID THIS PLACE as this is not a professional tattoo remove clinic… they are beauty salon that trying to claim as much sessions = as much £££ as possible by not treating whole tattoo area or using incorrect laser settings… basically a SCAM!!!

I have been trying to get hold of this clinic to schedule my prepaid laser sessions I had already paid for before I became pregnant in 2020. I have since had my Baby and have been trying to contact them to arrange my owed sessions. They have failed to contact me back on multiple occasions to book this, they do not reply to emails and when I did get to attend for a testing appointment I was told I needed to wait to be contacted for further appointments!! I have still heard nothing even after calling them and speaking to the customer service who always promise a call back!!! Extremely disappointing and there is no way of even getting a refund because no one from their team bothers to call back!!! From my experience I would not recommend!!

* SCAMMERS *. I booked an appointment at the Cheltenham clinic which was a 20 minute drive from my home. I paid £150 at the reception when I walked in. During my consultation Dr Simon Harris then advised me that I would have to travel to his clinic in Cardiff for the treatment as the equipment at the Cheltenham clinic was not suitable. From my home to Cardiff is a 1 1/2 hour drive. Why would I book an appointment at a local clinic to then drive all the way to Cardiff. This advice was only given to me after I paid the £150. SK:N Clinic are making good money just on consultations even if a client does not pay for further treatment. Have a look at the reviews for SK:N Clinic on other review sites. Even their employees give bad feedback. *SK:N Clinic even try to tell Trustpilot that you never had an appointment to get there negative feedback removed. * SCAMMERS *

Sk:n have refused to refund around £300 for treatments I could not book when they were closed during lockdown. I would strongly suggest that others find a different clinic.

I have been a client at Skn since 2017. I initially had 8 sessions of half face laser hair removal however it was not very effective and it was found that i had in fact suffered from hair stimulation as a result of the treatment. Skn offered me an additional 6 complimentary sessions however this did not make much of a difference. I was never informed about any potential growth stimulation which has now occurred on my face. Leaving me with 90% more growth than I had to begin with. I have no confidence left as I am absolutely hairy if I had known this would have happened I would not have chosen to proceed with this treatment. Having this issue has added to my anxiety which has put me in a dark place. Skn claim that they discussed this with me during my consultation however i do not recall this. After my course of 8 sessions I was informed that a before and after picture should have been taken before the treatment began, which in my case it was not. This led me to think if Skn were not able to take before and after pictures how could they argue that they had explained the possible adverse impact? I know for a fact that i would not have gone ahead with the treatment if I was informed about the potential hair growth, I was truly made to believe that I would receive amazing results. I believe that Skn consultants should really take the time to go through the pros and cons of their treatments with their clients in consultations. I must say, i am very saddened by Skn's level of professionalism and service. I have had to chase them on a number of occasions for a response to my emails throughout the years. I am still awaiting a reply from them for an email i sent initially on 8th January 2020 despite Skn advising me it will take 20 days to compile a response. Skn have been extremely insensitive to my situation and my self-esteem has been shredded to pieces after this treatment. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND SKN TO MY WORST ENEMY!
