“Beautiful location overlooking the fields Beautiful heated pool which along with the views and Location was the highlight of of the whole cottage. House itself was grand but dated and in need of desperate attention. Bathrooms had no space to put toiletries, door handles loose, some light switches not working. One working washing machine which leaked when we used it. Issues with a immersion heater meant we had no running hot water for one afternoon. The owner was very quick to come out and did everything to resolve the issue. Overall a pleasant stay but very over priced for what if was worth.”

“I’ve been very pleased with properties booked through Sleeps12.com. I look for properties with indoor pools and at least 6 en-suite bedrooms but preferably more and usually find a good selection. I’ve noticed over the years that it’s necessary to book ahead earlier and earlier as ‘staycations’ become more and more popular.”

“House was very clean. Location was excellent. Impressed with Taunton, feel good town with lots of good restaurants. Kids loved the pool, to them it was a week in heaven. Dunston Castle was a great day out. Pool table was a bit suspect as my son-in-laws and grandson kept winning. What would I do to improve? Take my Amazon Prime dongle with me to give the kids more choice. Put razor charge points in the en-suites. Picky because the week with the family was brilliant. Note: Watch out for traffic in the access lane as no mirror to see traffic from the left when leaving the house.”

“Super position and very safe for children. We had three generations there including 8 grandchildren from 3 to 16: they all loved it because of the sports area. The pool is a delight and there are many activities to keep them interested in the play room. Good activities in the area and many places to visit. Good restaurants which welcome children. Loads of equipment all of which works and pans to die for, n Guests are well supported by the property manager who is very helpful indeed.”

“Our family had an amazing weekend at the Ham Bottom lodge. Everything was perfect, we ordered food delivery to arrive for 4pm and didn’t leave the lodge all weekend, we took full advantage of the lovely sunny weekend and enjoyed the play park for the kids and the swimming pool and hot tub. We would definitely recommend and definitely book again.”

“We all had a wonderful time at Foxcombe. Can’t fault it in anyway. Perfect for large families with lots of children. The pool was a god send. The kitchen was very well equipped. Brilliant to have a bbq. The house was very clean and tidy. Extra bonus to have full sky package & an indoor pool. We also appreciated the cake upon arrival! The kids really appreciated the play park. All in all - a brilliant time.”

“We revelled in our stay for the last two weeks in July, with a few other musician families - good food/wine, company, ambience, music-making. The huge Chateau was gorgeous - way better than even the photos show: everyone gasped (both on arrival and throughout the stay) at how unbelievable it was to be staying in such palatial splendour. The decor and fittings were opulently tasteful in every single room - there was space to have peace and quiet even amongst so many people. The grounds with a stream and lavoir and gardens were tranquil. The outdoor pool was refreshing and glorious for swimming whenever the mood took us - the kids had lots of fun in it! There are games rooms - pool, table tennis, table-football and every imaginable board game, and a library and music room! We enjoyed culinary local delights on the outdoor terrace with BBQ and the enormous cheffy kitchen which is to die for - the owners are former restaurateurs. The owners can arrange (for purchase) a fantastic selection of local wines including not well-known gems which they can source for you - some might find them a bit pricey but that is because of the quality - but they are just as happy if you supply your own - it's not forced on you. The owners, Jackie and Jennifer, live discreetly in the grounds in the coachhouse and are very warm and welcoming hosts and can make breakfast arrangements for bread or other local delicacies (they are also fantastic cooks and jolly good company if invited!) and were only too pleased to help out any with any problems they helped - far beyond the call in our case because we had a few challenges along the way with a car accident and things!) We happened to spend a good time with them and made good friends. It was the best holiday ever. No-one wanted to leave! I'd ordinarily say a once-in-a-lifetime holiday, But we would love to, and hopefully will come back again.”

“We have just returned from a wonderful stay in Fuzzy Orchard. It was our 40th wedding Anniversary celebration with the family and had been much anticipated. Everything was just as the information and the photos. The property can't be faulted.”

“Beautiful, spacious and comfortable accommodation with a great garden for kids and adults alike. Lots of spaces to gather and relax, inside and out - including the barbecue hut and hot tub - and a peaceful location in a delightful area of Somerset. “Booking with sleeps 12 is very easy and I have already booked with them again. However, whilst the accommodation we have just visited looks fantastic on the website, once there, there is a general lack of information and I did not feel the standard of cleaning was what I had come to expect from a sleeps 12 villa.”

“A great service. Communication was so easy when I spoke to them on the phone. The house we stayed was amazing! Would definitely go back again. The sleeps12 gave lots of valid and helpful information about the property which was great. Would definitely use this company again!”
