“Cockercombe is a amazing holiday house, the pool is fantastic kept to a perfect temperature and exceptionally clean, BBQ , garden and equipment added bonus, the kitchen and house lovely standard and well equipped, we do agree with a previous report the Aga probably not needed and takes up needed space put just our opinion. Lovely welcome cake and very attentive Helen (house manager) to answer any queries, thanks for a wonderful stay, Happy family from Birmingham we would love to return !”

“We have just left Ramscombe after staying there for a week. There were 14 of us in total and the house was amazing, it had everything that we needed for our stay plus a lot more. The kids loved playing table tennis, the trampoline and swimming pool as well as the large patio area to play on their scooters. Would definitely go back.”

“We stayed at Riverside Cottage for my partners 30th birthday and had a wonderful time there. The cottage was well equipped and the owners had thought of every little detail, we especially enjoyed the vast amount of board games on offer. It was perfect for a week celebrations, thank you again!”

“The property is very impressive and owners very welcoming. Set in a beautiful, peaceful location. Comfy beds, with lovely little touches like the toiletries, robes, towels and a water bottle for each person. Massive dining table!!! Lots of space for the kids to run about and play, and adults enjoyed hot tub and pool table. Maybe could add some garden seats/loungers to enable adults to enjoy grass area, while kids play. Many thanks to Bobbie and Nick and all the staff at sleeps12. Julie Bennett”

“We have just returned from a fantastic holiday at Berry House in Devon. We had a very special family celebration, with ages ranging from 6-80 and we all had a great time! The house and gardens are beautiful - and the swimming pool was a great success. Everyone felt it was a special holiday and one that will be repeated. Will, the owner of the house, was always friendly and helpful, sleeps 12 were most efficient and Flora the private caterer produced a delicious dinner for our celebration. We could not have asked for more. JB”

“Friendly staff very helpful at all times from booking holiday to arrival our place was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone especially my dad celebrating his 90th birthday all the facilities were very good definitely would recommend and stay again at another property”

“Our three night weekend spanned three generations, including our children and grandchildren and celebrated two fortieth and two fiftieth birthdays earlier in the year, as well as a 10 year wedding anniversary. The six double en suite rooms suited the distribution of ages and genders perfectly. We were lucky to have good weather to be able to enjoy the outside facilities (table tennis, boules and the BBQ) as well as the indoor pool. The lodge was spotless and well-maintained and essential requirements in the kitchen, such as plenty of tea bags, coffee, sugar and some milk (plus a delicious cake) were provided along with good quality washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and a washing up brush and scrubbies were all provided, as well as plenty of good quality tea towels. The bath towels and hand towels provided for each of us were also of good quality and freshly laundered. Not cheap, but worth the money for a special occasion (and actually not that expensive if the cost of different rooms was split between different participants)”

“What a wonderful house. We had a very warm welcome from Anthony our host. He was very attentive and text me throughout our holiday to ensure everything was okay. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was fab as was the sauna and hot tub. Loved the cinema room.Would recommend this holiday100%”

“Stayed at cockercombe to celebrate Golden Anniversary with all family,what a great lodge everything you needed was there.the swimming pool was amazing the grandchildren loved it along with the adults .would recommend anyone to stay here.also the cake left for us was really nice gesture.”
