“Don’t do it.
I decided to try it as they were giving 50% off your first box on an ad I saw on Facebook. They took the £7 and then 4 DAYS LATER took another £13.99! Two weeks pass and I’ve not received any boxes or emails from them!
Their website says you can cancel yourself online, you can’t. When you contact customer services via their website you receive an auto-generated response saying they are overwhelmed and it will take up to 7 DAYS for a response.
If the company can’t cope with orders why keep advertising so aggressively on social media for new subscribers. Absolutely diabolical way to run a company. I’ve blocked further payments via my credit card because thankfully I used a credit card but just don’t bother with this company.”
“boxes always very late they take loads of paymments out and no boxes arrive, they have stopped you cancelling on website and never answer any emails, currently reporting them to bank, AVOID”
“Paid for two boxes, received none. All I've paid for are a couple of royal mail tracking numbers that remain unchanged for a month. Royal mail havent received the parcels and snack surprise refuse to refund or investigate.
I doubt they even give any money to charity.
You'd be better of ordering SnackCrate and donating to charity yourself.
Serious scammers”
“Took money fast enough but no products sent. Had to contact bank in the end for a refund - note the bank refunded me before they chased the company. Terrible customer service, does not answer emails. Would NOT recommend this company at all.”
“Decent company with decent snacks. Absolutely terrible customer service though. Writing a review because the reviews on trustpilot aren't representative of all customers as they bribe them with a product to give 5 stars. Told trustpilot, then snacksurprise claims business profile and suddenly its not an issue/isn't mentioned anywhere they do this (as in probably paid em off or something). Leaves a bad taste in my mouth honestly.”
